It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, by himself, itself, clerk or aent, to keep open for public business, any licensed merchandise general store, grocery store, wagon or hardware store, furniture store, meat market, or other like place of business, within the limits of Nephi City, between the hours of six o'clock P. M. Standard time on any day and four o'clock A. M. the following morning, or on any Sunday; provided, however, that the provisions of this section shall not apply to licensed theatres, motion picture concert halls dance shows, halls or other like places of public amusement, nor to hotels, restaurants, boarding houses, garage or service stations, pin or ball alley, pool halls, cigar or tobacco store, lunch stand, candy or confectionary store, nor drug stores, or other places of business the closing time for which are elsewhere regulated; provided that a grocery store is hereby defined to mean and include any place within Nephl City which offers for sale to the public groceries, and carries at any time a grocery stock of a value of $100.00, invoice price, or more. Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating the provisions hereof shall, upon conviction, be deemea guilty of a misdeamor, and be fined in any sum not exceed ing fifty dollars, or Imprisonment in the city jail not exceeding thirty days, or both. Section 3. That any provision of the said Revised Ordinances of Nephi City of 1931 conflicting herewith be and the same is hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict herewith.
