Show July Thursday, 2nd, THE 1936 niS 111TH BIRTIIDAY Ft. Miss Janle Robertson with her Sunday school class, had a pleasant outing to the Big Springs last Monday. Games were played and refreshments served. Miss Alice Smyth left last week for Chicago where she is attending ( the University of Chicago, because aipolntment as supervisor of the North Sanpete Elementary grades which has been under the direction of Miss Fontella Langlols of Mt. Pleasant for several years past. Miss Smyth is now taking training for this work and will return in September to take up her new duties. of her iff i i i John Hurry Davis, photographed as he appeared holding his one hun dredth grandchild while celebrating his one hundred nod eleventh birth day on h's farm near Ralnbrldge, Ohio. Mr. Davis has nearly 175 de scendants, reads without glasses and still possesses a remarkable mem ory. Born in Campbell county, Vir glnla, in 1825, he moved to Ohio 75 years ago and has resided on a farm since that time. The grandchild Is Joe Francis Hansford of Wilming ton. Ohio. Mrs. Joseph DlKgle and children Las Vegas are visiting with Bishop and Mrs. Irvln P. Oldroyd of Mr. and Mrs. George Green have received word of the arrival of a grandson at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Greenhalgh of Nephl on June 28. The mother was formerly Miss Sadie Green.
