Chicago 60651 Pioners in Pftici Established 1924 A lot has happened this past week ln our community; people are coming and going. Some are here for short visits and some are going away forever. To have two people leave us ln less than a week doesn't happen hap-pen very often, The realization comes to us that we can only be sure of one thing, and that Is of one day dying. And who would want it otherwise. Our love and sympathy go out to the families of Erma Styler and Peter A. Peterson, also to the families of our neighbors Norman Gardner and Mrs. Revoe Crafts our one time Oil sis resident. The funerals bring many of our people from out of town back home. There were so many to Mrs. Styler' s funeral that I couldn't begin to name them all. I saw a good number from Holden, where she grew up, and of course, her family were all here. Her sister, Iva Stewart from Meadow and her children from Ariz., Calif, and Bountiful and Ephlram and Beaver. Mr. Lee Farr and his children Lory Kim and Lee Ann of Phoenix, Ariz, were coming up and their car broke down. They had quite a hard time finding someone to bring them on to Las Vegas. They met Ed Coplln and his two daughters, daugh-ters, Kathy and Lisa and his mother, Mrs. Helen Coplln, who flew to Vegas and planned to come on with the Farr's.' Well, the whole party took the plane to Cedar where they rented a car to come on to Oasis. They left to be with her father Val Styler a few days longer.
