Ing apple anu nd mouth water-?mon water-?mon pies made by the best cooks in the valley. Everyone had a plate full when ,hey left the tables set up bf-fet bf-fet style, a few came back for seconds. After the supper the group enjoyed music by Mrs. Norma Sherwood of Nephtonher violen with her daughter, Diane, on the accordian and a Mr.Austln on the banjo. They gave an hour program but the music was so special the encores kept them longer ...they played tunes of the 1920's and 1930's and even a few modern tunes. They loved it all and Invited them back next year. Mr. Sherwood Sher-wood who Is now the Mayor of Nephl brought the group to Delta. Mr. Glen W. Seegmiller, director dir-ector of the Delta Center welcomed wel-comed new members Mr. and Mrs. Ed Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Fera Little and Mrs. Johnson to the party. He also expressed a thank you to County Commissioner Commis-sioner Walter Ekinswho was in attendance for the help the county Is now giving to finance the program now that federal funds are no longer available. Mr. Seegmiller expressed a thanks to E.L. Moody, stake president and his wifefor coming com-ing and for the support the stake has given to the center by renting the building for $50 a month when it is easily worth $100 a month. 4 H ERS TO Hold Program- 4-H Achievement program for our 4-H year 1970 will be held Monday, Nov. 9, 1970 at the Deseret Stake House, 7:30 p.m. All 4-H'ers, leaders and parents par-ents will be honored this evening eve-ning with award, door prizes and refreshments. 4-H'ers, age 9-19 will receive awards in many areas among which are clothing, foods, home improvement, achievement, leadership, livestock, etc. Leaders will receive pins for years of service and other accomplishments. Lucky people will receive door prizes at 5 drawings to be held at different times throughout the evening. Also given out will be the premium monies for exhibiting at the Millard pounty Fair. The general public Is Invited and all 4-H'ers, leaders and parents are encouraged to circle this date and plan to attend.
