AUGUST 27. 1970 Garrison News BLANCHE RICHARDSON Ladd Davies was in Ely to the horse show recently. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden spent Saturday evening at Pete and Trudy Kaufman's of Lehman Caves. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gonder, Baker; Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden, Dear-den, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dearden and family were in Ely Sunday to attend the last day of the horse show. Deputy Richardson had a busy Sunday night. He was called to the scene of an accident this side of King Canyon. A car went over the bank trying to avoid hitting three antelope that were In the road. He returned home from this about 10:30 p.m. Ten minutes later he was called to take two people to the doctor in Ely, who were injured in-jured in another truck roll over due to trying to avoid hitting a horse that was in the middle of the highway. He returned home from this episode at 3:30 a.m. Mrs. Rhoda Terry, Baker, was accompanied ac-companied by her granddaughter, Kathy Buccambuso, Reno, Nev. and Marthella Jordan, Baker to Provo recently to keep a dr's appointment. Monday, Daisy Gonder was a business visitor in Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Hill and chil-ren chil-ren of the "Y" Motor Lodge and Joe Eldredge spent a few days camping in the mountains and enjoying en-joying the cool weather there. On Lee and Zelma Dearden's return re-turn trip from fishing at Strawberry they had the pleasure of Zel-mas' Zel-mas' sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Adiel Bleyl and two young daughters, also one of their married daughters, Sandra, and baby spend the night with them before going on to Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson and Art Ryan and grandson were at the Dee Heckethorn home in Ely Tuesday Tues-day evening. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Dearden went to Salt Lake recently. They returned home by way of the fair and rodeo at Deseret. Mr. and Mrs. Chub Richardson and Joe Griggs of Lehman Caves spent Thursday in the Cedar area. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Heckethorn, Mrs. Doug Doutre and Art Ryan and grandson spent Thursday in Snake Valley visiting the caves and other points of interest that Art used to know as a young fellow. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Dearden have recently spent some time in Island Park, Ida. fishing with some friends. Arvilla Splawn of Calif., sister of Ladd Davies spent a few days visiting visit-ing with Ladd and his family. They were all in attendance at the Grant Davies Funeral held at Fillmore Fri. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Whitlock, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dearden and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Davies and family, fam-ily, Miss Blanche Richardson and Kathy Buccambuso, Dee Jensen and daughter, Vickie and Terri Cambron all attended Days of the Old West. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rowley went to Springville Friday night. Cecil saw the doctor there. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Conde of Salt Lake arrived early Saturday to spend the weekend with the Bud Richardsons. Mr. and Mrs. Toby Mather and family went to Duchesne Sunday to attend a family reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Hill went to Miford Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gonder, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Huntington and children, chil-dren, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Gonder, Glenn Monarco and Kathleen and Kevin Gonder went to the fair and rodeo at Deseret. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wheeler and family and Jane Ellen Swenerton were at the Deseret fair and rodeo. Wayne Gonder was in Ely Monday Mon-day to attend a meeting. Cecil Rowley spent two days in Cedar undergoing eye tests. Barbara Rowley and four children spent the past week in the Callao area with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm of Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Whitlock spent a day in Delta on business. Virginia Eldredge of the Y Motor Lodge was a business visitor to Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Gonder were Delta visitors Wednesday. Daisy Gonder escorted her children, chil-dren, Kathleen and Kevin to Ely Thursday to a 4-H meeting prior to the White Pine County Fair, Aug. 28th and 29th. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Richardson and daughter, Blanche spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake with their daughter, daugh-ter, Donna. While there they attended at-tended the Curcus at the Salt Palace. Pal-ace. It was a marvelous performance. perfor-mance. The Richerdsons also visited with the Bob Larson family gefore returning home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Yersin returned from fishing at Strawberry Friday evening. They had real good luck. Saturday the Yersins went to Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Blanche visited her sister, Daisy Rowley. Earl went fishing at Minersville Res. and had good luck. The Wm. Conk reunion was held at Lehman Creek Circle Saturday. A very good time was enjoyed by all. There were eighty descendents present.
