Additional hours of credit To be applied to lane increments must be earned since July 1, 1968 and approved by the local Committee on Professional Improvement. Im-provement. 2. Two-thirds of all approved hours of credit must be on campus cam-pus and in the teaching field or a closely related field. 3. Teachers with a professional profes-sional certificate will be paid an additional $25.00. 4. Teachers who have no cer tificate or B.S. degree will be paid $200.00 less than scheduled. Teachers who have neither a certificate nor a B. S. degree shall remain on step 1 of the salary schedule less $200.00. 5. Teachers improperly certificated cer-tificated for the position they hold will be paid $100.00 less than scheduled. 6. Pay for extra professional services beyond the regular assignment as-signment will be based on the above salary schedule. This is Coaches conducting athletic programs beginning the last period and continuing after school will be paid $200.00 for the Head Coach and $150.00 for the Assistant Coach. If the coach is teaching a physical education class the last period of the day it will be interpreted to be an athletic program taught during the school day. MILLARD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT Section III GENERAL PAYMENTS, 1969-70 Key to Section III, Description of Payments: A. Administration: Includes expenses of the Board of Education members, the Superintendent, publication of financial report, printing forms and notices, annual budgets, school election costs, Supplies and other expenses for the district office. B. Instruction: Covers free textbooks, periodicals, aids, Title I supplies, Title II, National Defense Education Act supplies and other expenses ex-penses such as travel for instructional personnel. Purchase of new library books are also included here. C. Other School Services: The largest items are expense for transportation of pupils, involving supplies and parts for maintaining district buses, replacement re-placement of vehicles, contract payments for transportation in private vehicles, fees in lieu of transportation, bus and vehicle insurance, the school lunch program's cost of food, equipment, and other supplies, Community Services expense for the Junior Jun-ior Livestock Show and supplies and expense for the health program are also included here. (Continued on following page.) Engagement Told Mrs. Anna Van Buren of Reno, Nevada announces the engagement engage-ment and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Beverley, to Mr. Paul W. Dewsnup, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Ashby, Delta. Miss Van Buren graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master's Degree in Sociology and is currently employed as a counselor coun-selor at the University of Nevada at Reno. Mr. Dewsnup attended the University Uni-versity of Utah before serving an LDS Mission in Germany. He also served in Vietnam for four years as a helicopter pilot in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently cur-rently employed as a pilot by Eastern Air Lines in Boston, Mass. The couple is planning a Sept. wedding in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Couple Married Mr. and Mrs. William Farnsworth of Provo, Utah and recent residents of Norfolk, Virginia, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Joy Farnsworth, to Mr. Paul Y. Moody, son of Pres. and Mrs. E. L. Moody, Delta. The newlywed couple exchanged wedding vows August 27, 1970 in Salt Lake LDS Temple ceremonies. Pres. and Mrs. Moody extend a cordial invitation to everyone to attend openhouse in the young couple's honor Saturday, Aug. 29, Deseret Stake Center between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Couple to Unite Miss Beverly Rae Skeem will become be-come the bride of Robert Roth Aug. 29, 1970 in the Manti LDS Temple. Parents of the engaged pair are Mr. and Mrs. Fred A. Skeem, Hinckley Hinck-ley and Mr. Robert Roth, Van Nuys, California. A reception and dance will honor the couple later that same evening in the Oasis Ward Cultural Hall between the hours of :30 o'clock and 11:30 o'clock. After a honeymoon trip to Calif, the newlywed couple will return to Brigham Young University, Provo, to resume their studies.
