Show HINCKLEY ELAINE HARDY The Dick Corriea family has moved to Dcserct. We wish them well in their new home. The Raymond Robison family of Salt Lake visited with the Wesley Morris family on the weekend. Arvilla Workman is still in Salt Lake to be near Karl who is hospitalized hos-pitalized at the LDS Hospital. His visitors are still limited. He would enjoy more mail from area friends. Saturday visitors at the Walter Manis home were Jay and Jerry Warner and family of Salt Lake. Dee Greener played a good game for Delta High Friday when the Rabbits played at Emery. Dee scored three touchdowns. A fair was held at the school last week. Participating were preschool, pre-school, headstart and first grade. They also made horses and went to the rodeo grounds for a little rodeo. Ralph Gronning visited his mother, LaaFy Corey, last week. Rulon and Evan Western and their wives and Rulon's son, Lee and Gary Wefendin and wife visited with Alma and Nancy Western Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Black and sons of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. David Ekins of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilde and children of Salt Lake were weekend visitors at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Ekins. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Lowder of Kamas visited their son and family Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Lowder. Also a brother and family visited J the Elgin Lowders of Orem. I Rich Cropper, son of the Gaylen! Croppers, is now home following i surgery. He will be in a cast for approximately the next 2 months The new baby boy born last' week to Gam and Bonnie Widholm Bishop is the 5th grandchild for' Mr. and Mrs. Julius Widhelm of Denver, Colo, and the 42nd grand-' child for Mrs. Gertha Bishop. Mrs. Dana Bishop attended the Relief Society session last week in Salt Lake and visited with Karl Workman at the horpital and with the Eldon Hurst family. 1 y MISS BETH HEPWORTH Reveals Troth Mrs. Orlando Hepworth of Hinckley announces the engagement engage-ment of her daughter, Beth, to George B. Applegate, son of Mrs. Bart Applegate of Tooele, Utah. The couple is planning a December Dec-ember 20 wedding in the Hinckley Hinck-ley Ward ChapeL, Verdell Bishop, Gale Farnsworth and Lionel Taylor attended a Scout meeting in Provo. The rook club held its first fall meeting last week. George and Lola McDonald Steele of Goshen stayed with the Ren Taylors last week while their son had a tonsillectomy at the hospital. Mark Petersen and Russell Peterson Peter-son are attending Snow College. Beryl Hardy and daughter, Diane visited Saturday in Holden with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wood. Beth Brown is the new work director of the Relief Society. She replaces Valyn Dutson. The baby boy of Gary and Connie Con-nie Baker Morris of Salt Lake was blessed Sunday and given the name of Michael G. Morris. The baby boy of Waldo and Carolyn Morris Warnick was given the name of Gregg Morris Warnick. Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Swensen and Mr. and Mrs Weldon Theobald of Tooele are visiting in Lodi, Calif, with their sister, Elma. The Randle Swensens, the L. R. Swensens, Janeve Chapman and the John Crowleys attended the wedding and reception of Esther Ann Swensen last week. Esther Ann, daughter of the Carl Swensens Swen-sens was married to Elwin HalJ of Canada in the LDS Temple. Randle Swensen, Dick Mecham and Ken Mecham went elk huting but saw no elk. Patrice Bishop has been made counselor in the YWMIA in one of the Provo Wards. Barry and Karen Bishop, Cedar City, spent Sunday with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Bishop. At the Ren Taylor home last week were Robert and Orpha Taylor, Tay-lor, their two daughters and son of Salt Lake. Beth and Hugh Judd and their two daughters of Sparks, Nev. visited with the Lee Judds and Clyde Stevens last week while en-route en-route to North Carolina to visit another daughter. Sunday visitors at the Judd home were Lyle and Clifton Whetton and daughter of Orem. Dana Bishop and MarGene Rowley Row-ley attended leadership Week at Utah State University last week. Pearson and Hazel Stewart of Las Vegas visited with his sisters, Golda Talbot and Oleta Swensen and families while on their way to conference. Miss Beth Hepworth and fiance, George B. Applegate, Tooele visited visit-ed with her mother, Mrs. Fern Hepworth Hep-worth and other family members Sunday. Lyle Hibbard of Ely, Nev. visited with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. ' Carlos Anderson over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Brush of Eugene, Eu-gene, Ore. visited a week with her sister, Pearl Wilkins. Mr. and Mrs. Verdon Blake of Provo were Sunday visitors with his mother, Clarrisa. A lovely program and d delicious lunch was enjoyed by a large crowd of women. We hope the Relief Society meetings this winter are as well attended. Everyone Every-one had a nice time. Ulala and Bill Mace of FloweU visited Thursday with Mrs. Mollie Dewsnup. Russell and Marlene Black and two daughters of Yuma, Arizona spent the weekend with Russell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Black. Martell Mace of Las Vegas, Nev. visited Saturday at the home of Doyle and Martha Mace. Students home from college over the weekend to visit with their parents were the following, Dale Jensen, Layne Eliason, Douglas Larson, Boyd Black, Martin Eliason, Elia-son, Sidney Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Warner and children of Saft Lake spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Jay's mother, Mrs. Fern Warner. Mr. and Mrs. Laurence Bennett went to Salt Lake Saturday where Laurence had a doctor appointment appoint-ment Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Cropper and Rick went to Salt Lake to visit with their son, Elden Dennis Cropper Crop-per prior to his departure for the Great Britian mission field. Darrel and Alice Gaye Scow and daughter, Lisa, of Phoenix, Ariz, visited Saturday with parents, Mil-den Mil-den and Arprilla Scow and Mrs. Alice Bliss. Alice Gaye and Lisa wil spend the next two weeks here but Darrel returned to his work. Mr. Harold Western of Phoenix, Ariz, visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Western. Harold attended at-tended Conference in Salt Lake. Sisgarvillo VENICE DAVIS vill reservoir. Mr and Mrs. Alan Riding were home for the weekend with Mrs. Beth Day. Mr and Mrs. Calvin Skeem of Salt Lake and children were down to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Skeem. The Relief Society had their Opening Social Monday evening. A good crowd turned out. Jennie Styler was in charge of the program Ella Christensen was in charge of a skit. Rex Stanworth did the number he took to the Fair. Delene Skeem played her accordian. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. Robert Anderson is home from the service. It is always good to see them released. Tressa Jenson and son, Rex, made a trip to Provo Sunday for the blessing and naming of her greatgrandchild, great-grandchild, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nathon Anderson (Judy). A corection on last week's items, Colene and Chuck Jergens sons, Kurt goes to the North Eastern mission and Jim is in the Australian Austral-ian mission. Colene attended conference. con-ference. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oliver of Calif. visited his brother, Lorin Oliver and family over the weekend. Mrs. Roxie Losee visited in Dug-way Dug-way with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith and family for 3 days and took in the Relief Society Social there. Our Relief Society had its opening open-ing social Thursday night with 14 members present. A report for the coming lessons were given by Eve Shields, Ruth Losee, Venice Davis, Tressa Jensen and Yvonne Shurtz. Our president gave the opening address ad-dress and we leceived clever written writ-ten invitations to the coming meetings. meet-ings. Games were played and prizes won by Ireta Shurtz and Tressa Jenson. Lovely refreshments were served by the officers. Verla Jenson and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Huntington made a trip to Salt Lake for a doctors appointment appoint-ment Thursday for Verla. Mr. and Mrs. Leaur Shields visited visit-ed Sunday with their grandma, Henrietta Barben. The Jolly Stitchers held their first party of the season at the Woodrow Hall Satuiday night. Prizes were won by Clayson Cahoon, Ann Hales, Marjorie Clark and Roy Walker. June Hinckley and Robert visited in Elko, Nev. with Mr. and Mrs. Ward Curtis and family for a week. Robert is now staying with his father for awhile. Mr. and Mrs. Curt Shields are home again after a week in Nev. Glad to have them home again. Zen Boothe spent the weekend at Mayfield with his son, Dale, on the Elk Hunt. The second morning of the hunt Dale had his big six-point six-point buck.
