ROBERT ASHBY Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wood and daughter, Connie, of Salt Lake visit ed over the weekend with family and friends. Mrs. E. H. Farnsworth was in Salt Lake to attend General Conference. Con-ference. Visiting with the Paul Paces and helping care for the new baby is Judy's mother, Mrs. Adele Grange of Boise, Idaho, also Judy's brother, Robert Grange and friend, Miss Neola Patterson. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Pendrey visited in Orem over the weekend. Pres. and Mrs. E. L. Moody attended at-tended conference in Salt Lake. They brought Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) (Caro-lyn) Moody and two children home with them. She will stay about two weeks. She has also been visiting in Logan with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Whitney Smith for a couple of weeks while Richard is on business busi-ness in the Middle East. He plans to visit his brother, Jon, who is serving a mission in Scotland. He will return the first of Nov. and come to get his family and they will return to their home in Mo-Lean, Mo-Lean, Virginia. Visiting with the Kent Hortin's is Kent's mother Mrs. Pearl Hortin of Oakley, Utah. Mrs. Rena Casper of Heber visited visit-ed with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hortin about a week. Saturday Mr. Joe Casper, Deon's dad, came and got her and took her home. Mr. end Mrs. Paul Cutler had their daughter named in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting Sunday. She was given the name of Sharon. Joan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Woodbury of Salt Lake visited with them. Miss Bonnie Wood who is employed em-ployed in Salt Lake was home over the weekend with her parents, also Miss Nadene Wood returned home to stay after being in Salt Lake for awhile. Mr. Reid Broderick claimed Miss Mary Hitchcock for his bride in Elko, Nevada rites Sept. 24, 1969. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Cloy Broderick, Tooele, formerly of Delta, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth M. Hitchcock of Pohokee, Florida. Openhouse to honor the young couple wil be held Saturday, Oct. 11, 1969 between the hours of 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. at 162 West First North, Tooele. Everyone is invited to attend. Second Vard Hews EDDYS BARBEN Pres. and Mrs. Ward Moody just recently returned home from a visit of a week in Alamosa, Colo. with their daughter Mr. and Mrs. Carlton (Elizabeth) Anderson and family. Thursday the Moodys went to Provo where Mr. Moody attended attend-ed a Scout meeting. Friday they went to Salt Lake to Conference and attended the Cook Islands, Raro Tonga mission reunion where they met some newly returned missionaries mis-sionaries and heard tapes and saw pictures of their friends from the Islands. Mr. Joe Peterson of Orem is visiting here with his brother, Mark and his grandparents, Pres. and Mrs. Ward Moody. Mr. Marion Killpack left recently recent-ly by Grey Hound bus for Reno, Nev. for a ten day visit with his brother, Jack Killpack. Monday and Tuesday while Marion was away thier children, Mrs. Vesta Cahoon of Orem, Mrs. Lela Petty of Provo, Mrs. Magnon Stephenson Stephen-son of Fillmore spent the two days here with their mother, Mrs. Lillian Killpack. They had an enjoyable time and a good visit together. I Saturday Marion and Jack drove back to Delta together after a nice ' visit. Jack will visit with his sister Mrs. Ingra Dennison and the Mar- j I ion Killpacks before returning to his home in Reno, Nev. I Mr. and Mrs. Noel Twitchell and two daughters visited with their ) parents Sunday and attended church in the 2nd Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gardner and two children, Dale and Sharon of! Las Vegas visited Saturday and! Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Twitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Noel Twitchell and two daughters of Salt Lake spent three days last week touring Southern Utah. They visited in Panguitch, Cannonville, Glen Canyon Can-yon Dam, and "Pahreah" Kane Co. the birth place of Roy Twitchell. They traveled to St. George Friday and visited all the historical histori-cal sites of that area. They returned re-turned to Delta Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams and Joan traveled to St. George Sunday to help celebrate the birthday of their son, Nolan Saturday the Adams family spent the day m Provo with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spor.
