Teenagers themselves are sometimes some-times bewildered, trying to understand under-stand themselves. Amidst this striving for maturity and self-realization, we find many "great" teenagers. teen-agers. I would like to quote part of an essay written by Carol Richert, a senior at an Indiana high school, in which she analyzed the feelings of many teenagers: "I'm old enough to date, old enough to drive, and old enough to hold down a job .... but my mother tucks me in at night and I like it "I'm idealistic, gentle, loving, kind, I hate to see people hurt, physically or spiritually but hardly hard-ly a day passes that my brother and I aren't black and blue with the blows of battle. "I know that tomorrow I may be entrusted with the fate of the world. I know also that I will be worthy of that trust if you stand by me now. "I promise you that your stand with me will not be in vain .... for I have unchallenged potential and dauntless courage; my goals are high and my hope is tremendous. tremen-dous. I can build a bright future, if you will help me for I am a teenager. DHS Hews Items REGION DRAMATIC MEET: Thursday, three Delta students. Galbraith Keith KFA Reporter Consideration for Others Appreciated We Just hnd the pleasant experience exper-ience of having some materials returned re-turned to the Delta Junior-Sunior High School library that had been missing for over two years. Thanks to Mr. Curt Johnson, we nan me November 1962 issues of NEWSWEEK NEWS-WEEK returned. Yes, these are old magazines but wo still never know just when someone will want to use them on a research problem. Our lilirary, like most libraries, has many valuable items missing. These materials have been taken without a record being left as to where thev went. We seldom lose materials that are properly checked check-ed out, but each year magazines and books are taken and not returned. re-turned. Our magazine collection is valuable; val-uable; each missing issue lessens that value. We have some 35 magazines mag-azines ontending back anywhere from one to forty years. In general, our collection goes back ten to fifteen years. If in your home you have magazines that belong to the high school library, we would appreciate ap-preciate their return and give as hearty a thanks as we give Mr. Johnson. We also have many books missing miss-ing that we would appreciate being be-ing returned. Often, the books are of particular value as they cannot be replaced, like everything else, is advancing with inflation. Miss Ruth Hansen AEMIAHAM MRS.
