Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Losee made a trip to Kanosh during the week for a visit with her sister, Mrs. Rebecca Re-becca Kimball. (She runs the store in Kanosh). Mr. and Mrs. Frelen Shurtz visited visit-ed in Alpine over Friday night with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Shurtz. They went on to Piovo Saturday morning for the Spenctr, reunion. Mr. and Mrs. Jene Manning of Calif, visited with old friends, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Losee and families. (Mrs. Manning was Elizabeth Remington Rem-ington and lived here years ago). Mr. and Mrs. Art Hill made a trip for 3 days to Puffer Lake. Mr. i and Mrs. Bud West met them there for some fun and fishing, which was very good. Art Hill also had eye surgery in Provo last week. Phyllis Jenson is visiting in San Francisco for 2 weeks with her sister, sis-ter, Karen Davis and family. Then Karen and children will come back Svsor'l Garden Club Reports TV Deseret Garden Club met on the lawn at the home of Merle Bennett June 29, 9:00 p.m. The in.ely Irwns and flower gardens were especially enjoyed by the club members. A light supper w?s served by hostess Lucile Hales to guests Ray-da Ray-da Rawlinson, Lewis Rawlinson and Merle Bennett and members, Bev-i Bev-i v L'liswin, Cleo Eliason, Edna Christensen, Bertrice Erickson, Nora Cropper, Telia Fisher and Arprilla Scow. Lewis entertained the club members mem-bers with slides taken on his mission mis-sion in Austria and with several vocal selections. On July 6 the club held a work meeting at the Deseret Church grounds. Cool beverages were served to the members by President Beverly Eliason at the wcrk meeting. The bride-elect is a graduate of Juab High School and Juab Stake Seminary, She has attended Dixie College and is a graduate of Hollywood Beauty College at Provo. The future bridegroom is a graduate of Doha High School and Descret Stake Seminary. He has completed a 2y2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to the Raro-tonga Raro-tonga Mission. He has attended Utah Trade Technical Institute at Provo and Snow College, Ephriam. The couple plan a Sept. 9th wedding in the Manti L. D. S. Temple. Dekker. PFC Dekker Dek-ker has been stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas and more recently at Ft. Gordon, Ga., where he received specialized training in communica-j tions. Upon the end of his leave at home, PFC Dekker will leave for Vietnam. Donna Mae DeMers of South Gate, Calif, and her two children, Jolene and James have been visit-1 ing with Mrs. DeMer's mother, Mrs.: Veva Dekker.
