Mr. and Mrs. Dale Matthews and three children of Kearns spent the Easter weekend in Delta with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Warner. Judy Callister who is attending school at the U. of U. spent the holiday weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Callister. Deloes Schlcppi who has been working in Salt Lake is back again with her mother, Mrs. Z e r m a Schlappl. Visiting at the David Moody home this weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Winslow Christensen and family fa-mily of Pleasant Grove and William Wil-liam McDaniel of Rangely, Colo. Mrs. Christensen and Mr. McDaniel are a brother and sister to Mrs. Janice Moody. Joe Lyman attending school in Provo at BYU was home over the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Lyman. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bohn and daughters dau-ghters Linda and Debbie were m Las Vegas for a couple of days last weekend. Mrs. Norma Hann'fan Sherwood of Nephi visited in Delta Saturday with many of her friends. I asked her about her family and she said Cherie and Mac Shields still live in Kanosh with their family and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn (Diane) Brough lives in Provo. Diane works in the Provo hospital as a secretary to a doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Smith and son were Val, their son, and two friends Ralph Schmidt and Duane Gregory, both of Salt Lake. LaDell Hegmaa visited in Delta with his family this week, Mr. and Mrs. Henning Hegman. We are so sorry to hear Mrs. Ray (Annie) Bishop is in the hospital hos-pital at this time. She isn't allowed to have visitors, but our faith and prayers are with this wonderful woman and hope she will soon be feeling much better real soon. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen and daughter, Adrian, visited in Delta this weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Morrison and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hansen. Chris and Dorothy are living in Salt Lake. I got a week ahead on my birthdays birth-days last week. Anyhow, "Happy Birthday" last week to Cheryl Lee Yates, John Henrie and Leo Lyman. And, again this week to Jeffery Mabbutt, Neil Whicker, Scott Ches-ley, Ches-ley, John Black and Michael Theobald. Theo-bald. They came back by Cedar and Linda went back to school at Dixie. We Second Warders were saddened sad-dened by the death of Mrs. Alta Dodge. Mrs. Dodge and Mary Dibble Dib-ble came to Delta earlier to v'sit with the Irvin Jeffery family. They stayed until last week and went into Salt Lake to attend conference. They were able to shake hands with Pres. McKay. On their way back home to Rice Lake, Wis., they stopped at Mrs. Dodge's daughter in Milwaukee, when she took sick and died four hours later. The Jef-ferys Jef-ferys haven't heard for sure the exact cause of her death. We are truly saddened to hear of her death. She was a very wonderful person. We extend our deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Kent Miller, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed- and have been in Salt Lake, Ameri can Fork, Spanish Fork, Provo and Pleasant Grove to see my children. I had a birthday last Sunday and thirty of my kids and grand kids met at Reed's big beautiful home in Magna to celebrate it. Yesterday Don and his girl friend and my son Lyle brot me home. I love California, Cali-fornia, every inch of it, but oh its good to be home to see all you dear hearts and gentle people. I thought I would be home alone for Easter Sunday, but I have done so much and seen so much all winter I d'.dn't mind, then here came my son, Duane and his girl friend from the BYU to spend the day with me. At church tonight it was so good to sing in the choir again. It was a special Easter program and they sang The Palms, Calvary and a men's quartette sang The Holy C ty. Those in the quartette were Dean Talbot, Harold Hepworth, Cluff and Russel Talbot, Blaine Spendlove, Rodney Wright, Walter Manis and Dale Bliss. Ruth Talbot and Susan Reeve were accompanists. accompa-nists. Pres. Verdell Bishop delivered the Easter message. Rodney Wright gave the invocation and L. R. Swen sen the clos'ng prayer. The deacons quorum was organized. organ-ized. Mark Petersen was chosen president, with Tommy Taylor and Ronald Hardy as counselors and Russell Petersen as secretary. Released Re-leased were Allen Galli, pres., with Kenny Talbot and Ronald Hardy, counselors and Paul Naylor, sec. At Sunday School special Easter songs were sung. Vicki Valdez read a scripture and Arthur Reeve delivered de-livered a thrilling Easter message. How good it is to see Art home again and well after his terrible accident a year ago. His wife Mary was also out Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. B. Pratt had the pleasure of v:siting a week here with their daughter Patricia and husband Henry Anderson and children, child-ren, also, son Marion and wife Nellie Nel-lie and family all from Washington. Roma Hepworth Zeller and hus band Don Zeller of Tooele spent their Easter with their mother, Mrs. Fern Hepworth. Mr. and Mrs. Meron Petersen had as their guests their daughter Myr-na Myr-na and husband, Fred Jensen and children. At the Ren Taylor home were Mrs. Tena Shepherd of Mt. Pleasant Plea-sant and Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Peay of Spanish Fork to spend last week. Congratulations to Waldo Jr. and Karolyn Warnick on the arrival of a fine baby boy on Friday. They have little Sandra to welcome her baby brother. Mr. and Mrs. Orthell Dennison and family of California are here to see parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dennison. Ellis Stevens and children of Ruth, Nevada, were here Sunday to see friends and relatives. Walter Ekins, George Cahoon and Verl Maxfield are all ill and in the hospital in Salt Lake. We wish them all a speedy recovery so that they can be home with us again soon. Leo Ekins took his mother Roma to Salt Lake Saturday to see Walter. Wal-ter. Erma Cripper also spent the weekend up there to visit him. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Naylor from Washington are visiting their parents par-ents here in town. Les Webb had Jim Johnson from Salt Lake to spend two days with him, also, his son Ronald, and wife and two children of Salt Lake and son Calvin of Tooele over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Monte Palmer and children of Salt Lake vacationed at Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Palmer's home. Mr. and Mrs. Randle P. Swensen had Mr. and Mrs. Neal Larsen and children of Carson City, Nev., as their guests last week. David and Rulon Stevens, sons of Vera and Dee of Salt Lake were here over the Easter vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Wright and daughter Geniel of Ogden spent the weekend here with parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Wright.
