Show MILLARD COUNTY CHRONICLE Delta. Utah, Thurs. Not. 08. 1957. ABRAHAM Mr. AFTON FULLMER I was reminded it is getting the time to prepare for the coming holidays when Karr Hoelzle and Angie Atherley said they had spent a portion of Saturday baking fruit cakes together. I thot "what a nice way to get a job done, dou'ble up on it and make a day of It." The Relief Society gave a luncheon for the ladies last Tuesday. Tues-day. The tables were decorated beautifully and the favors were measuring spoons and a screw driver. Our President Reva Bliss, said the spoons were to remind us to spoon out a measure of our time each week to attend meeting and the screwdriver was to pry us away from our home tasks. What a thought and 1 hope it works and we won't lose them. Mrs. Orpha Nellson of Lynndyl was our Stake visitor and Mrs. Beryl Hardy and Mrs. Halley Y. Jensen were our guests. Halley was Relief Society president for 15 years here some years ago and we were happy to have her back with us. All had a good time. Mr. and Mrs.. Taylor Riding of iD-lta visited the Jay Fullmers on ' Sunday. Thursday, Sherman Tolbert celebrated cele-brated his 42? birthday. Many, many happy birthdays, Sherman. Elder Hal Young gave his report in sacrament meeting .Sunday night. He has served two years In the West Canadian Mission. He reports he enjoyed his mission and gained a wonderful testimony and also got to see lots of beautiful cold country in Canada, and is glad to be home again. Miss Marilee Young gave a piano selection. Visitors from out of town to attend at-tend were Mrs. Alene Jeffery and Mrs. Mary Jane Petersen and Mrs. Halley Y.
