The Sutherland Seamers The Sutherland Seamers met at Kathy Johnson's home and organized organ-ized as follows: Rhea Erickson, president; Carol Ann Fowles, vice president, Kathy Johnson, secretary; Barbara Jackson, Jack-son, pianist; Karen Moody, song leader; Annette Moody, reporter, and Dana Kay Ogden and Judy Turner, party committee. The Deseret Garden Club held their May meeting Friday afternoon, after-noon, May 17, at the church. (Ye reporter was out of town for the day so this Information is secondhand second-hand but I'm sure it is authentic.) A goodly number of members participated in the work and the weather was lovely so they accomplished accom-plished all they planned to do. The work consisted of setting out plants: petunias, verbenas and four o'clocks. These flowers alona with the ones already growing snoum make the grounds look very attractive later on. The annual luncheon of the Delta Art Club was Saturday after noon, at the home of Mrs. RalDh Morrison, with places marked for tnirteen members around the table, with salmon pink tulips and colum bines flanked by white tapers for ming the centerpiece. Present were Amelia Cole, Donna Don-na Sorenson, Alma Petersen, Rom ania Bird, Dorothy Killpack, Loa Black, Helen Baker, Liz Pace, Mel- ba Crafts, Callie Morrison, Callie Morley, Nelle Callister and Athena Cook. A farewell gift from the club was presented to Mrs. Morley, who leaves this summer to reside In Salt Lake Citv. Tjv Mrs. Black.
