Air Force, and left Delta ; Tuesday, for Fort Douglas, and then on to Lackland AFB San Antonio, Texas, for basic train-' mS- j Both young men passed their . physical examination in aSlt I.ake ; City a week ago, and then return- j ed to Delta to prepare for thei departure. They enlisited for four j years. Stanley and his parents spent the weekend in Salt Lake. and visited his brothers Bernell Tol-bert Tol-bert at Tooele, and Jay Tolbert, at TOD Park, and their families. Hhiekllock MRS. MERRILL MILLER Leave Soon On Alaskan Trip Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Wright are leaving Delta next week for Alaska, Alas-ka, where they will visit their daughter, Barbara, and husband, Don Morgan and two little daughters, daugh-ters, on Kodiak, where Mr. Morgan is school principal. Mr. and Mrs. Wright will leave Seattle, May 14, on board ship, for Seward Alaska. From there they go, by train to Anchorage, and then travel airline to Kodiak At this time of the year. the only way to get to Kodiak is by airplane, air-plane, as the waterways will not be opened until In June. They plan to be gone about four weeks. Mrs. Nell Watson left Delta Mon day, with her son, James Sampson and wife, for Salt Lake City, and visited her daughter, Mrs. Alta Jamison. Tuesday Mrs. Sarah Mc-Culough Mc-Culough left, with Garth Tolbert. and visited her daughters, Mrs. Clarinda Daly and Mrs. Letha Peterson, Pet-erson, in Tooele, and Wednesday she joined Mrs. Watson, and they left together for Thornton, Idaho, for a visit of several weeks with their sister, Mrs. Melissa Wilcox, and family. Frank Lane, Spanish War veteran, vet-eran, is being treated at the Veterans' Vet-erans' hospital in Salt Lake City Mr. and Mrs. Merril Miller were in Salt Lake City on business. Mr. and Mrs. J. T. James, of Bremerton, Washington, spent a few days at the Miller home. Mr. James is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John James of Milford, Utah. They have been visiting friends and relativies in Salt Lake, Milford and Beaver, and they plan to spend a few weeks in California Calif-ornia before returning to their home in Washington. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke were in Salt Lake City on business. bus-iness. Mf. and Mrs. J. T. James, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller and Walter Miller were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Cline, of Milford. Mr. and Mrs. Hampton Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Miller, and Walter Miller were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hardy, of Delta. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs T. Claridge and son Don.
