Show Couple Celebrate 56 Anniversary Patriarch and Mrs. Charles R. Woodbury, of Hinckley, celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on Monday, May 3. Couple Plans June Wedding Mr. and Mrs. Lamond Bunker j are announcing the engagement j and approaching marriage of their daughter, Julone, to Mr. Jay Cot tie, 1 son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Cottle, of Malta. Idaho. ' The young couple plans their wedding June 10, in the Logan Temple. Both are attending USAC at Logan, Lo-gan, where Julene is completing her second year, and Mr. Cottle will be graduated in June. He will enter the service in the latter patt of June. by Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Chesley, and Mrs. Pearson held low. Oasis Mrs. LaVeda Bishop We are happy to welcome Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ludwig and their family of four children to our community. They moved here a month ago from Draper, Utah. Mr. Ludwig is working at Clear Lake. Sunday morning his parents Mr. and Mrs, Otto Ludwig, of Sandy dropped in real early and spent Sunday and returned to their home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Val Styler spent Thursday and Friday and Saturday in Salt Lake City and Bountiful. Mrs. Hilda Gillen is still in Salt Lake with her children, Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Swensen and family. A new baby boy has been added to the family and Mrs. Gillen Gil-len is helping to care for him and his mother. Her family is expect ing her home the last of this week Mr. and Mrs' Clark Bishop at-' tended funeral services for Mrs. Isabelle Millett in Payson last Thursday. j Sunday evening the Primary held their ward conference. The pro gram was enjoyed by a good crowd of people. Wallace Hogge and Douglas Stinagle spent the weekend in Oasis. The boys are both from Sacramento, Cal., and are attending attend-ing school at BYU. The students who wore running for student body offices, after being be-ing introduced by their campaign managers, gave campaign speeches The cheer loaders tried out by presenting two yells for which they made up their own actions. Although Al-though they tried out in groups they were voted for individually. YEARBOOKS ARRIVE SOON The yearbooks have been completed com-pleted and the proofs have been sent back. The books will contain 110 pages and will cost only $3.50. The books will arrive about the second week in May. The faculty will decide when the books will be issued. LYCEUM Tuesday, May 4, at 2:00 P. M., in the Delta High School, Jim J. Lynch, "King Archer", presented an exhibition of archery. Some of his feats consisted of shooting bow and arrows upside-down, upside-down, backwards, under the leg, behind the back and from on top of the head; also of shooting swinging targets, rolling targets, and tragets tossed in the air.
