Shipley Sunday evening the program was mder the direction of the gen-logy gen-logy committee. Officer Allridge ave a good talk. Meredith and ihlena Anderson sang. The Green and Gold ball held Saturday night was enjoyed by a large crowd. The theme of the .lance was "By the Light Silvery Moon" the M Men and Gleaner Girls spent mueh time in the decorating dec-orating which was very beautiful. The floor show featured a quar-tet quar-tet by David Finlinson, Monte Niel-son, Niel-son, Gary Roper and Austin Lov-ell. Lov-ell. The Gleaner Girls danced a pretty number and carried silver moons, also the Explorers and M Men danced a very fine dance. There were many visitors and stake officers present. Mrs. laurel Prisbee and little son from Boulder, Nev., are spending spend-ing a few days with her parents, Mr. and rMs. George H. Anderson. Mrs. Kathryn Mounton from Heb er City visited her mother Mrs. Florence Jones for several days. Mrs. Jones has been very ill. Mr. Marvin Finilinson is 111 at this writing and confined to his bed. Antone Christensen is home on leave visiting his mother Mrs. Esther Christensen and other relatives re-latives and friends. He is stationed at Camp Gordon, Ga. Elder Richard Christensen left Sunday morning for San Francisco where he leaves for his mission in Samoa. Mrs. Angie Lyman has returned to her home in Rexburg, Idaho after visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. George Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Don J. Melville and children from Salt Lake City visited over the New year's weekend. week-end. The men joined in the many rabbit hunts. Other visitors noticed were Mr. and Mrs. Clishe I-ovell and family son Kenneth, Onzlow Nielson and T, C. Lyman from Sunset. Mrs, Bert Roper returned home after a week in Ogden with her children. Her son Devan and wife brought her home, they will visit a few days. Mrs. Edna Christensen and little grandaughter Nola and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Christensen went to Salt Lake. Grant entered the Veterans Vet-erans hospital Monday for medical med-ical treatment. Many New Years parties were held Thursday evening the annual Rabbit hunt was held New Year's day most of the male population were out waging war on the rabbit population. Miss Avis Anderson was home for the holidays. Malcolm Stevenson and Harold Gammon were visitors from Ihl. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lovell had Mr. and Mrs. Robison and son Jack from Salt Lake as visitors.
