Show MILLARD COUNTY CHRONICLE Delta Utah, Thurs.. May 14, 1953 Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wood received re-ceived word this week that their nephew, Wayne D. Morgan, was advanced from captian to major on April 1. Major Morgan is stationed sta-tioned at Barksdale AFB, La., where he makes his home with Mrs. Morgan and their children. Mr. and Mrs. Laver McClellan wish to announce the arrival of their first grandchild, an 8 lb. baby boy, born to Mr. and Mrs. Ronny Anderson of Manti. Mrs Anderson is the former Joyce McClellan. Mr. and Mrs. Justin Smith and children, Mack, Timothy and Suzanne;- were in Salt Lake City Thursday Thur-sday night to attend the ballet production at the U. of U. Mr. and Mrs. Don Johnson, who are making their home in Pan-guitch Pan-guitch for the summer, where Mr. Johnson is working on the state road, spent the weekend in Delta. Dr. and Mrs. Clair H. Porter, and children, from Paysan, spent Sunday Sun-day in Delta visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Crane, and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Porter. He is named Edward Joseph II Grandparents Grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Morrill, of Delta, and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Boyle, of Tooele. Their two-year old daughter,Jo-Ann, daughter,Jo-Ann, has been in Delta with her grandparents and returned home Sunday. Mrs. Ellen R. Morrill will remain a week to visit the new grandson and family. Mr and Mrs. McGuire, (the former for-mer Nola Morrill), have made their home in Tooele since Mr. McGuire was released from the service, where he served in the U. S. Air Force.
