Chapter News AT vii ii AWE BY JACK NIELSON The Chapters " Farm Quartely Magazine" sale came off lairly successful. We sold a few magaz ines over the alloted amount of fifty which gave us a fifty dollar bonus. The Ag. Club gave five dollars to the boy who sold the most magazines, it was given to Reggi Pearson and Frank Baker. The money from the sales will go for our transportation on our summer trip. We are now engaged in another magazine sale. In this one we can sell 84 different magazines, such as Life, Times, Colliers, and Wo-mens Wo-mens Home Companion, also Sports and outdoors magazines like, Sports and Field and Stream. The club has made a little contest out of this. If a boy sells ten dollars worth of magazines, he gets a beanie cap, and the boy who turns his money in first gets a candy bar. This money also goes for the Ag. trip. The Ag. Club is giving ten dollars to the 'March of Dimes" polio fund. We have had a fairly successful year so far, and we have some busy months ahead, with the F.F.A-banquet. F.F.A-banquet. Sweet Heart Ball, and the F. F. A. Convention coming up- Well, it looks like Beaver finally fin-ally decided which team was going go-ing to hold the top positoin in Region 6, when they came up from behind in the last two minutes min-utes of the game Friday, to win over Delta, 45 to 43. The Rabbits took the lead at the first of the game, and continued cont-inued to hold it right up to the last few minutes of the game, when Beaver slapped in a few fast baskets to gain the lead, which they held until the final buzzer. The Delta boys put a real scare into the Beavers, but couldn't seem to hold out against them long enough. Cox, for Beaver, continued his scoring pace, and tallied up 18 counters, followed by Murdock with 8. each had 10. For Delta, Floyd, and Moody The Rabbits will go to Hinckley, Hinck-ley, Friday, where they will play the favored Mustangs. BY LEON HUNSAKER DELTA NAME G T F Pet.
