Mrs. Amy D. Smith visited Jn Salt Lake City Wednesday with her aunt, Mrs. Annie Timms, who is very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Mitchell of Vale, Oregon, have purchased the former Mathis home on Sec ond North Street, and are mov ing here in the near future to make their home. Mr. and Mrs. George Downs spent Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Elmo Eddington and Keith Eddington were Salt Lake City visitors Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Powell and little daughter, Patsy Ann, of Woods Cross arrived in Lehi Sunday Sun-day evening to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Leland Powell. Connie and Mary Lou Anderson Ander-son of Salt Lake City are visiting visit-ing in Lehi for a few days with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Anderson. Miss Elma Higginson of Salt Lake City spent Sunday in Lehi with her mother, Mrs. Walde-mar Walde-mar Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Atkinson of Salt Lake City are rejoicing over the arrival of a fourth daughter, Judy Claire, born July 10 at the LDS Hospital. Mrs. Atkinson is the former Blanche Webb of this city. The grandmother, Mrs. Clara Webb, is spending a few days with the Atkinson family. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Evans and Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Lott spent the 24th in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Mott, Mr. and Mrs. David Grace and family Mrs. Donald Coates, Mr. and Mrs. William Grace and Michael Coughlan spent Sunday in American Fork Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Timpson and children, Marcia and Russell, Rus-sell, who have been here for the past month visiting Mrs. Timp-son's Timp-son's parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Lott, left last week for their home in Spokane, Washington. City are rejoicing over the arrival of a nine pound son, born Friday at 6:45 p. m. in a Salt Lake hospital. The new heir has two sisters, Connie and Mary Lou. Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Abra-ham Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Rual D. Davis of Provo are the proud grandparents. Guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Zimmerman this week are Mrs. Zimmerman's mother, Mrs. Jane Solberg, her brother-in-law-and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Var-ney, Var-ney, and her nephew, Stanley Varney, all of Chinook, Montana. They, will visit with the Zimmerman Zimmer-man family and other Lehi relatives rela-tives and with Mrs. Rose Varney Var-ney in American Fork until Sat urday, when they will return to their homes. Miss Jalayne Webb has return ed home after spending a week in Salt Lake City with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson, and family. Mrs. Dorothy Jones- of Salt Lake City spent Saturday and Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Alice Tuckfield. Mrs. LaVerde Kirkham entertained enter-tained Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Wilkedson (Gertrude Anderson) at dinner Thursday evening at her home. The Wilkersons are visiting here from Los Angeles, California. Miss Julia Fae Anderson of Rexburg, Idaho, is visiting in Lehi for a week as a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wilcox. Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Salt Lake City spent Sunday in Lehi visiting with Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Zimmerman. Mr. and Mrs. Junius Banks attended at-tended a family dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mclntyre of Mortinez, California, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Marsh in Alpine Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bertrand Beck and two sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Woffinden and children enjoyed an outing at Black Rock on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. George Lewis left Monday morning for Denver, Colorado, where they will visit with their son, Jack, who has been transferred, there from Texas for training in the U. S. Army. Nelson will be interested to learn that they are moving here the latter part of the week from Richland, Washington, where they have resided for nearly two years, and are returning to their former home on Lake Street.
