Mrs. John Ernst of Nevada Is here for a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs, Charles Turner. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Davis and children of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Asa J. Clark. Miss Evelyn Clark, who Is teaching teach-ing school In Mapleton, spent the week end here with her mother, Mrs. James Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Harmon McAffee of Salt Lake City were Sunday guesta of Mrs. Nettle McAffee. Mrs. Ralph Davis and Mrs. A. W. Davis were Salt Lake City visitors on Friday. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Ether Pulley Pul-ley of Salt Lake City visited in Lehl, as guesta of Mr. and Mrs. William Dunsdon. Elder Jacobs of Clinton, Utah, who has been laboring as an L. D S. missionary In Canada, with Elder El-der Kirk Crabb, called here Saturday Satur-day to visit with -Kirk's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Crabb. Mrs. Setli Hansen and two children, chil-dren, Bobby and Kathleen, returned re-turned home Sunday, after spending spend-ing the past week In Brigham City with Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Hansen. Bobby has been 111 with pneumonia at the home of his grandparents, but Is now Improving. Mr. Hansen spent Sunday In Brigham City and his family returned with him. Mr. and Mrs. George Seal and son, Dale, and daughter, Elaine, of Salt Lake City visited in Lehi Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Worl-ton. Mrs. Noy Chrlstofferson entertained enter-tained at a delightful children's party Saturday, honoring the seventh sev-enth birthday anniversary of her daughter, Connie. A number of little friends were entertained with lively games and were later given a treat in the form of delicious refreshments. Mrs. George Harvey celebrated her sixty-second birthday anniversary annivers-ary at her home Sunday. Monday evening twelve friends of Mrs. Harvey surprised her at her home In celebration of her birthday anniversary. Social chat and games were enjoyed and a delicious de-licious luncheon served. Mrs. B. G. Webb and her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Tidwell, returned inome Sunday Sun-day evening, after enjoying a trip East. They went by way of bus to Flint, Michigan, where Mr. Tidwell purchased a new Buick car, then visited various places and points of interest. They visited In Chicago, Denver and St. Louis and other cities en route, reporting a lovely trip. They were gone ten days. Mr. and Mrs. Tidwell have been visiting visit-ing here this week and are leaving today (Thursday) for their home in McGlll, Nevada. Miss LaPriel Goodwin arrived home Sunday, after an extended vacation trip. She was gone nine weeks and reports a wonderful trip. She visited a month in Santa Ana, California, with Dr. and Mrs. Mark A. Dalton and family, also visiting In Los Angeles and Long Beach. Her trip then took her to Arizona and New Mexico and then to Denver, Den-ver, Colorado. She visited In Chicago Chi-cago and from there went to Milwaukee, Mil-waukee, Wisconsin, where she spent the balance of the time with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Austin Gudmundsen and family. fam-ily. Mrs. Stewart returned re-turned home last week, after spending spend-ing several weeks in Vernal with her daughter, Mrs. Leatha Miller, and has been ill since returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Albert West and new baby son visited here Sunday at the home of Mrs. West's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Turner. They are moving from Wyoming to Draper, Utah. Mrs. West was formerly for-merly Miss Wanda Turner of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Krenka and daughters, Beverly and Sandra, San-dra, and son John, Inez Beck, Harlan Har-lan Beck and Nita Lee Beck of Arthur, Ar-thur, Nevada, are here visiting at the home of Mrs. Alice Austin. They came on account of the death of Alice Beck. Mrs. L. B. Brown spent Saturday and Sunday in Grand Junction, Colorado, with friends. While there she enjoyed a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gries, former residents of this community. Mr, and Mrs. Martin Eccles made the trip with her. then continued their trip to Denver. They are spending the week there. H. C. Comer, one of Lehl's beloved be-loved and highly respected older citizens, celebrated his eighty-first birthday anniversary on April 11. In honor of the occasion a prettily-appointed prettily-appointed birthday dinner was given giv-en at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Comer. Present were Mr. and Mrs. W. A.
