Wee Read is a fun program pro-gram for toddlers 18 months to three years. Join for a half hour of stories, songs, chants, and finger plays. Final open house farewell is set for Pleasant Grove Ward building Harlow Clark Sunday, Aug. 29, will be the final day of meetings in the Grove Ward LDS chapel at 455 E. 200 South in Pleasant Grove. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will demolish the chapel mid-September and replace it with a chapel like the one on 825 S. Locust Street. There will be an open house Sunday night from 6 to 8 p.m. to bid farewell to the old building. Joseph Morton, president presi-dent of the Pleasant Grove Stake, announced the demolition dem-olition in a stake conference confer-ence Sunday, May 23. "My heart is pained," Morton said. "We've only been attending there for 25 years. Many of you have been attending there for graduate from Creighton Two area students have graduated from Creighton University in its 113th Spring Commencement ceremonies. Rhett Casper of Alpine graduated cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dustin Coles of Highland graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. More than 1,100 students stu-dents participated in the commencement exercises with about 800 graduates walking across the stage in the morning ceremony, representing rep-resenting arts and sciences, business administration, nursing, university college, law and the graduate school. At the afternoon ceremony, cer-emony, more than 320 graduates grad-uates represented the Schools of Pharmacy, Health Professions, Dentistry Den-tistry and Medicine. Creighton students come from all over the world, creating cre-ating a rich tapestry of diversity by representing almost every U.S. state and more than 25 countries, from China to Norway to Africa. This year's graduating graduat-ing class represented 25 countries and 44 states. Evans graduates from Mesa State Colby Dale Evans of American Fork, received his Bachelors of Arts degree, at Mesa State College's annual annu-al commencement ceremony ceremo-ny on Sunday, May 9. Mesa State College, located in Grand Junction, Colo., is one of the fastest growing four-year colleges in Colorado. The building is being demolished because of structural problems.
