Last year, PGHS brought home the first medal the school has ever earned in a Simplot event. Amber Gleason placed second sec-ond in her section of the mile run. Hansen and Goodman battled for the 103 weight class title. After building up a 10-2 lead, Goodman pinned his opponent. Goodman Good-man said, "I was hoping both of us would be in the finals. Spring NUCS soccer information released The spring 2003 recreation recre-ation soccer season is coming, com-ing, and the North Utah County Soccer Club would like to announce the following follow-ing dates: Spring-only recreation soccer registration day is Saturday, Feb. 22, for those who did not join last fall. It will take place this one day only at the Highland City Building from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you cannot come this day, you can pick up a registration regis-tration form at the Highland High-land City Building, fill it out, and have someone bring it to registration day. Registrants will be formed into new teams since existing teams are generally full. The spring-only spring-only registration fee is $15; a uniform shirt is required and costs $13 if the player doesn't already have one. Play begins April 5 and continues through May 24.
