Sid, his wife Janice, and daughters Krista, age 14, and McKenzie, 10, spent a recent afternoon in snow sculpture construction. "First we rolled a big ball," explained McKenzie, "then we shaped it." Using tools from snow shovels to spoons, the Mortensens cut and carved their sculpture. also our said she and the rec- s "Ve used hands," Janice as patted smoothed snow.
