Show Thomas Roy Biggs Thomas Roy Biggs, 67, passed away June 6, 2001 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center from complications com-plications from surgery. sur-gery. He was born June 3, 1933 in Scofield, Utah to Thomas Biggs, Jr. and Mable Forward Biggs. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School. He served in the U.S. Army for two years. He also served an LDS mission to the Central Stakes Mission, serving in Missouri. He worked at Hill Air Force Base for the past 30 years. He served as Ward Clerk or Executive Secretary in four different bishoprics, and was an active High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was married to Linda Seamons on May 20, 1959 and was later divorced. He married Jean Ann Johnson on August 22, 1971, and Betty Wiscomb Betty Jane Wiscomb Clark, 85, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 7, 2001, fol lowing long ness. was May 1916 Salt City to A. Donald and Clara Kasteller Wiscomb. She married Glade Ford Clark on May 28, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Betty was known for her cheerfulness and love for all. She loved to sing and was a member of the American Fork Civic Chorus. Always active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Betty served a mission in Portland, Oregon, and was a worker at the Provo LDS Temple. She was born Aug. 20, 1915, in Lehi, to Lott A. and Sadie L e f f 1 e r Russon. She married Van Carl Mork on May 20, 1936. He died March 6, 1943. She married Orville Vibbert on Oct. 22, 1943. Their marriage was solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake Temple on Jan. 17, 1957. He preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 1998. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lester, and sisters, sis-ters, Bermese and Wilmirth and one great-grandson. She Jeppson thank you The family of Arnold M. He is also survived by four sisters and one brother: Ruby Hansen, Spanish Fork, Inez (Bob) Ferguson, Orem; Ruth (Glen) Roundy, serving amission in Arkansas; Joan (Ernst) Eichler, Spanish Fork; David (Virginia) Biggs, Spanish Fork. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ralph Biggs and Sterling Biggs; a sister, Jean Burch; and a grandson, Joshua Biggs. Funeral services were Saturday, June 9, at Orchard Hills Chapel, American Fork. Burial was in American Fork Cemetery. Clark sons, Richard G. (Nancy) Clark, Lehi; Brian G. (Rhoda) Wiscomb, Wayne K. (Helen) Wiscomb, and Kenneth R. Wiscomb, Salt Lake City. She was preceded preced-ed in death by two children; a daughter, Jane Clark, an infant son; her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. The family wants to thank the staff of the Heritage Center for their kind and loving care of Betty. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 12, 2001 at Alpine North Stake Center. Burial was in the Alpine City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Heritage Care Center in American Fork. is survived by one daughter, Karla (Arthur) Harding and one sister, Josephine (Darrell) Hansen; 5 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She deeply loved and was concerned con-cerned with every member of her family. She loved her home and many good friends who visited her during her years of poor health. She endured many years of pain and affliction and was anxiously anx-iously awaiting the time she could return to her Heavenly Father and friends and family who had preceded her in death. Alona W. Higley Alona Wulffenstein Higley, 83, of Alpine, died June 8, 2001 in American Fork. She was born October 9, 1917 in St. George, Utah to Anna Gifford and Brigham Peter L. Wulffenstein, Jr. She married mar-ried Marion Cluff Higley June 6, 1935 in St. George and their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Alona was active in the LDS Church, serving in several sev-eral callings. She was called to serve with her husband at the Utah State Training School Branch where they served for 21 years. She was a member of the DUP and Dolores Jenkins Underwood Dolores Jenkins Underwood, 85, of Pleasant Grove, died June 9, 2001 of natural nat-ural causes at the Heritage rest home in American Fork. She was born January 16, 1916 in Walla Walla, Washington to Walter Jenkins and Anne Cunnington. She married her high school sweetheart, Vincent Morris Underwood, on August 14, 1939 in Boise, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized solem-nized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. She spent her working career as an instructor of cosmetology and also operated operat-ed her own beauty salons in the southern California area. Ferris D. Brown Ferris Duane Brown, age 72 of Deming, New Mexico, died June 5, 2001 at Mimbres Memorial Hospital. He was born October 23, 1928 in Lehi, Utah, to Charles Elwood and Viola Peterson Brown. He was a decorated Veteran of World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War, and served his career in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Utility Engineer for 30 years before retiring in 1975. Ferris and his wife, Claudia had lived in Utah and Colorado prior to moving mov-ing to New Mexico last year. She kept her sense of humor and smile to her very last day on earth. She is survived by her three children Gary and Robert Underwood of Pleasant ' Grove, Utah; a daughter Judy Johnson of Thousand Oaks, California; seven grandchildren: and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove City cemetery. Officials say the construction construc-tion remains on schedule despite some earlier set-bcicks set-bcicks The outside of the North building continues to take shape. Nearly 75-percent of the brickwork is complete as well as 50 percent of the outside plaster undercoat. Framing on the inside of the building continues to help the rooms really take shape. Mechanical, electrical electri-cal and plumbing are also coming along on schedule. Many of the areas of the North building that will be occupied are now easily identifiable. Fireproofing is now complete com-plete in the ICU addition. Framing has started and the brickwork will begin shortly.
