Show AMERICAN FORK CITIZEN Page S WHO'S WHO AND WHAT'S HAPPENING Thursday, December 6, 2007 ; Barbara Christiansen '. : NORTH COUNTY STAFF ri Four Seasons Cottage has opened its doors in eastern American Fork. Hanging above the door is a sign that says "Gifts for Every Season and Occasion." They are running a promotion promo-tion in which any $75 purchase gives the customer a ticket in a drawing for a 46-inch Sharp Aquos flatscreen television. The drawing will be held the week before Christmas. The location used to be the home to a craft consignment store, but the new owner, Donna Don-na Holland, said her emphasis is on gifts. ".We want to be known as a gift store," Holland said. "Someone can come in and grab a gift for any occasion." The store used to be a residence, resi-dence, and they have decorated decorat-ed each of the rooms in a different dif-ferent scheme. She said it gives the customers a chance to see the items in a natural setting. They carry home scents including candles, sprays and potpourri home decor, furniture, paintings, kitchen and dining items, wreaths, hand-made gift cards, jewelry, LIC Odin creates new position Odin Development, an online development and integrations company, has'announced that it has filled a recently created another full-time position. Four Seasons has painted signs and can also create customized signs for special orders, i There is a room dedicated to baby items, including bibs and toys. "We thought that would go well especially by the hospital," she said. Many of the items are designed de-signed by the owners. "I am very crafty," Holland said. "I have always liked to work with my hands. It is fun to create things." For their customers from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they have a monthly Visiting Teaching Message. Holland said she and her partner, Amy Bishop, decided they wanted to arrange their store up more like a home than a commercial establishment. "We wanted to set it up like a house," she said. "We wanted people to be inspired how to decorate their homes. All of the rooms are different colors." While Holland has a background back-ground in graphic design, she also has experience in interior design. "I have always played with the idea of opening my own store," she said.
