She was born November 16, 1930 in Randolph, Utah to Rob ert Ray and Edna Loretta John Johnston. Her family moved to Utah County when she was eleven, where she later met her true love Vance Green. They w,ere married mar-ried on June 9, 1947 and made their home in Pleasant Grove where they raised their family. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Edna was devoted to her loving lov-ing husband. Her family was the most Important thing to her. She liked to travel with her family; some of her favorite trips were to Alaska and annual trips to Flaming Gorge. She and Vance also enjoyed many trips with her sister Dorothy and his . V J J Robert Bennett Smith Robert Bennett Smith passed away peacefully October 22, 2007. Born March 22, 1919 in Riverdale, Idaho the son of Robert Rob-ert Lauritz and Doris Bennett Smith. He married Lu-ana Lu-ana Petersen December 14, 1938 in the Salt Lake Temple. Robert retired from Geneva Steel after 30 years. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and served as a Bishop. He served many years as a member of the Alpine City Council. if brother Nyle. She enjoyed cooking, cook-ing, sewing, crocheting, making porcelain dolls and she loved her flower garden. She shared her many talents with her daughters and grandchildren. Edna is survived by her husband, Vance and her four daughters, Jackie (Paul) Fay; Sandra (Mike) Johnson; Peggy (Kerry) Frampton; Karen (Cory) Olson. She loved her eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. One great grandson preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley DeMine and Robert Johnston; one sister, Dorothy who was married to Vance's brother Nyle Green. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 100 p.m. in the Olpin Family Mortuary Chapel, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to services ser-vices on Monday. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Survivors include three sons and a daughter: Alan R. (Su-sanne) (Su-sanne) Smith, Spanish Fork; Dennis Den-nis (Veloy) Smith, Alpine; Rayola (Frank) Hardman, Highland; Ron (Joanne) Smith, Pleasant Grove; 19 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, grand-children, 5 great great grandchildren, grandchil-dren, a brother and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Luana; son Delane; two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Friday October 26, 2007 at 1 1.00 a.m. in the Alpine Village Way LDS Chapel, 901 East Village Way. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork and Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, Alpine, Utah Cemetery. Cem-etery.
