Paul and La Verne Nerdin have been married 50 years this month. Five children, 21 grandchildren and one great grandchild later and they're ready for a party. Their children are honoring them with a reception in American Ameri-can Fork. The Brooks' were married May 25, 1957 in Salt Lake City. Norn and Colleen both attended South High. Norn is a wood craftsman and investment builder. Colleen specializes in T.R.T Therapeutic Recreation Geriatrics. They have four children. Dustin Todd Young, son of Russ and Lisa Young of Pleasant Grove, has attained the rank of Eagle Scout and will be honored at an Eagle Court of Honor on Sunday, May 27, 2007 at 5 p.m. at the Anderson Park Amphitheater, 950 East 100 South in Pleasant Grove. Dustin is a Varsity Scout in Troop 169. For his Eagle project, he completed the third tier of the Anderson Park amphitheater. In addition to scouting, Dustin enjoys swimming, wrestling, fishing fish-ing and camping. Christopher Pace Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Christopher Pace has graduated gradu-ated from basic military training at Lackland Air f orce Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, train-ing, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military custorns and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. In add tion, airmen who complete com-plete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force. He is the son of .lolVe Jensen of Cedar Fort.
