Show Thursday, October 5, 2006 CELEBRATIONS, Celebrations if yvV H , r ; ..... i s i Irene Neil Limb, 80th Irene Neil Limb will celebrate her 80th birthday on October 14, 2006. There will be an Open House in her honor at the Hillcrest Stake House, 165 North 350 West, American Fork, from 4 to 6 p.m. Irene was born October 11, 1926 to Victor F. and Lenora Butt Myers in American Fork. She was raised in American Fork. Her siblings are Floyd, Mary, Jay, Lela and Elden Myers. She attended school in American Ameri-can Fork. She played the trumpet in the American Fork Band - K. ' J. Bird was her instructor. She sang in the "Glee Club." In 1944 she graduated from "Dear ol' A.F. High." She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and has held many positions in the church. Irene married William C. Neil on September 24, 1945 in Salt Lake City. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in September of 1946. They have five children Blaine (Francine) Neil, Sheri (Tim) Spens, Kathy (Kent) Rodeback, Bill Neil and Jay (Lynnette) Neil. She has 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. William C. (Bill) died in an industrial in-dustrial accident at Geneva Steel Plant on April 8, 1972. Bill and Irene loved to travel and go camping with their family. fam-ily. They liked to dance and were the dance directors in their ward. They worked on genealogy together and enjoyed their two grand daughters, Cassie Neil and Jenny Rodeback before Bill died. Irene married Daniel W. limb on June 23, 1978 in American Fork. They enjoyed traveling, square dancing, round dancing, ballroom dancing and doing genealogy together. From this marriage Irene has three step children: chil-dren: Carolyn (LaVoy) Erickson, Wanda (Abe) Dalley and Daniel C. (Cynda) Limb. Many grandchildren, grandchil-dren, many great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. grandchil-dren. Daniel died May 8, 2003. Irene has been employed at the J. C. Penney in American Fork, Provo and Orem stores. She has a beautiful Lowery Organ that she enjoys playing. Irene is a good "sport." Her family enjoys teasing her and she teases back.
