The woman had assaulted her husband and when he tried to call the police, she grabbed the phone from him and hung it up. False information to police officer, curfew violation viola-tion - A 14-year-old girl and a 10-year-old girl 'were cited for curfew violation and false information to a police officer after an officer offi-cer observed them out after their curfew. When confronted con-fronted by the officer, they gave the officer false personal per-sonal identifying information. informa-tion. Possession of drug paraphernalia, arrest warrant war-rant - A 34-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and an outstanding arrest warrant war-rant after he was stopped for a traffic violation. Theft - A 14-year-old boy was cited for theft after he took several pumpkins from the front yard of a residence. res-idence. During the investigation of the call officers observed the marijuana mari-juana and paraphernalia in the residence. Illegal possession of alcohol by minor -A 20-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman and two 18- year-old year-old men were cited for illegal ille-gal possession of alcohol by a minor after the officer observed suspicious persons per-sons in the area and stopped to investigate. Joyride, leaving scene of a traffic accident and no drivers license - A 13-year-old boy was cited for joyriding, joyrid-ing, leaving the scene of an accident and no drivers license after officers responded to a report of a hit-and-run accident. The suspect had left the area and was later located by officers During the investigation it was found that the driver was a 13-year-old boy who had taken his mothers' vehicle without permission. The boy had hit a parked vehicle. The group captured the Davis' Cup on Tuesday evening, with 918 points. Davis High School took second sec-ond with 902 and Mountain Crest was third with 897. American Fork earned special awards for percussion percus-sion and outstanding music. The band began its competitive com-petitive season placing first at the Nebo Band Tournament Tourna-ment at Payson High School on Sept. 25. Band members also placed first at the Bridger-land Bridger-land Competition at Utah State University on Oct. 2, as did the Pleasant Grove Marching Band in the AA Division. Over 2,000 band students stu-dents from around the state comprised the 20 bands that were involved in these competitions. American Fork band members are seeking to maintain their undefeated season from last year. They are participating in the following fol-lowing competitions: Davis Cup on Oct. 12 at Davis H.S.; Mt. Timpanogos Competition Com-petition on Oct. 16 at Mtn.
