Seniors are invited to meet new people and enjoy lunch together, walk on the treadmill or ride the bike, or to come and just visit. The center has a good hot lunch each weekday at noon. Suggested donation is only $2. There is also a van that can pick seniors up for $1. Mountainlands and the State of Utah supply the meals. Hindley Mayne marks 90th Joseph Hindley Ma3Tie was born 90 years ago on May 3, 1914 in American Fork to Joseph and Marie Hindley Mayne. He was raised in and has lived the majority of his life in American Amer-ican Fork. May 6, 2004 - Page 5 Hansen returns from assignment Jackie Marie Hansen has recently returned from serving in with the 172nd Medical Logistic Battalion. Hansen was deployed for 14 months. On April 1, 2003 the 172nd convoyed into Iraq. The 172nd supplied all the hospitals with medical supplies sup-plies and blood, they were stationed in Balad which is 20 miles north of Baghdad. Hansen has had many experiences that will have an impact on her life. There are many Iraqi people Hansen met who are very grateful to the soldiers. Hansen also had the opportunity oppor-tunity of sharing her testimony testi-mony with her fellow soldiers sol-diers and the opportunity to see three of them baptized. Jackie is the daughter of Larry and Beverly Hansen-Hansen's Hansen-Hansen's future plan include getting married on May 22 and continuing her education in September.
