LHS Class of 1968 plans reunion Lehi High School's graduating grad-uating class of 1968 will hold its 35-year class reunion dinner and dance on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Commons Area of the newly renovated Lehi High School. Main Street in Pleasant Grove Utah, right across the street from The Grove Theatre. At the grand opening celebration cel-ebration there will be treats, face painting, family photos and entertainment. The academy is an acting, dance, voice and movement studio. There is theatrical training for all ages. "Our objective for the academy is to expose the community to theatrical training, that can be used in their everyday lives," said Gayliene Omary, owner and producer of The Grove Theatre The-atre and The Grove Theatre Academy. "When you give a child the confidence to say their name out loud on the middle of the stage, that child has confidence in many, many other areas." The classes that will be offered are music, dance and theatre, drama classes for different age groups, starting at 3. There are also various dance classes that will be offered. LHS class of 58 sets reunion The Lehi Class of '58 will hold its 45th class reunion on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. At Mel-lor's Mel-lor's Hidden Meadows, 877 N. 100 East, Lehi. The cost is $13 per person. "The dance classes are for those who love to dance but do not want to compete, students will learn dance techniques that can be used on stage and for fun," said Omary. There are acting, dance and other specialty classes for adults as well. "The Grove Theatre Academy along with The Grove Theatre The-atre wants to be an arts mecca for those in search of theatrical arts," she said. Fall classes will begin the week of Oct.. 6 and go to the end of February. There are various performing opportunities oppor-tunities planned during the class semester along with a production in February.
