Steel Days tennis tourney results given This year's Steel Days Tennis tournament was held from July 12-19 at the American Fork and Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove high schools. Many positive comments were received from various players throughout the tournament. "I hope everyone every-one that participated had a good time. I tried to make things go as smoothly as possible," director Jerry Eggleston said. "It wasn't perfect, but overall it went well. "There were several requests for mixed doubles, and so next year that group will be included as well, if I am asked to direct (the tournament again), Eggleston Eggle-ston said. Six courts were utilized for play and the tournament tourna-ment was sponsored by Edward Jones Investment firm in American Fork. Eggleston was assisted by Terry Miller and Scott Ras-mussen. This U.S.S.S.A. -sanctioned program is open to interested participants regardless of the city of residence. The fee is $375 per team plus $25 if not registered with U.S.S.S.A. Teams will play two games a night on either Monday or Wednesday. League play will begin Aug. 11. Sign up at the Legacy Center in Lehi during regular business hours or call 768-0853. One-pitch tourney set The Lehi Recreation Department is now accepting registration reg-istration for a one-pitch softball tournament to be held Aug. 15 and 16 at the lehi Veteran's Ballpark.
