Brady Palmer then got a base hit, and a throwing error by the Bulldogs allowed both runners to score. On Tuesday, American Fork is set to compete with Timpview at Springville. The American Fork soccer soc-cer team lost at Provo 5-0 on April 8 in last week's only match. The Cavemen managed to hold the Bulldogs scoreless for 25 minutes in the first half. They ended up only gaving up one goal in the period, but Provo converted convert-ed on three quick opportunities opportu-nities early in the second half to pull away. All of Provo's points were made on set plays. The Bulldogs remain undefeated unde-feated in the region and were 6-1 overall after this game. The Cavemen have a pair of home games next week. Timpview visits Tuesday and Payson comes on Thursday. The league is open to all players 15 through 18 years of age (cannot turn 19 on or before July 31). Registration will be held at Rotary Park, 250 S. 200 East, American Fork, from noon to 2 p.m. Players must bring a copy of their birth certificate. The cost will be $90 and players will keep their hats and T-shirts. T-shirts. Tryouts will be held on April 26 at 10 a.m. at the Rotary Park Field. Games will begin May 13 and continue through June 19. There will be an area tournament followed by a county tournament. This is a recreational league with some unique ideas to make this an enjoyable experience for all players. Volunteers are needed.
