Johnny, with his sparkling eyes and keen sense of humor, is gone from our eyes but not from our hearts. We watched him take on challenge after challenge and come out on top, then bless his heart, another health hurdle came for him to conquer. Johnny, you have been admired, loved and adored. Our hearts and souls go with you. . : John was born March 23, 1919, in Springville, Utah, to George and Dora Dee Crandall Barrett. He lived in Springville as a child before moving to Provo where he married Anna Mae Dixon on May 26, 1937. Anna passed away June 25, 1989. He served in the Navy during World War II before moving to California Califor-nia where he worked for the Helms Bread Company. On returning to Utah, he worked at Regal Lanes for over 40 years with his boss and dear friend, Lynne Wright. He won many awards for his salesmanship. salesman-ship. He married Ileen Green Colledge on March 10,1990. Johnny was an avid bowler. He loved fishing, birdwatching, gardening and traveling. He enjoyed learning new games and ' making new friends on the computer aqd would spend many afternoons playing. Any season of the year you ' could hear him cheering for BYU as a ticket holder or just in front of the television. televi-sion. He especially loved spending time with his family fam-ily and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ileeri; children: Jack (Sandi) Barrett, Marysville, Wash.; Michael (Debby) Barrett, Spanish Fork; four siblings: Ellwood (Merlene) Barrett, Redwood, Calif.; Robert (Faye) Barrett, Provo; Bonnie (Westley) Grover, Palmer, Ark.; and Dorothy . Gammon, Salt Lake City; eight stepchildren: stepchil-dren: Margie Green, Teresa Brunson, Peggy (Jim) Hen-rie, Hen-rie, Phillip (Barbara) Green, Wendy (Jeff) Shupe, Becky (David) Hutchison, and the ' two youngest, Melinda (Clint) Draney and Sally Grpen, whom he helped raise. He is also survived sur-vived by 82 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. " Janet Cardon Stevenson 'Allred passed her mortal test and returned to her Heavenly Heav-enly Father Monday, March 24th, 2003. She was surrounded by her family. fam-ily. Her family is very proud of her courage and positive attitude atti-tude throughout her struggle strug-gle with ALS (Lou-Gehrig's disease). She was born April 10th, 1948 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho to Samuel Grant and Nada Stevenson. Her family fami-ly eventually settled in Orem, Utah where she attended public schools and graduated from Orem High School in 1966. Janet married her high school sweetheart, Art Allred on August 13th, 1971 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. Together they settled in American Fork where they worked and raised their four children. Janet worked at the American Fork Hospital Hos-pital for 26 years and made many close friends there as well as in the community. Janet loved life and cheered many people with her bright smile. She led a very active life. She was happiest in the bleachers cheering her family fam-ily on. Janet was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her family wishes to thank all those who helped support us these last 18 months in many different ways. They are especially thankful to the kind care of her dear friend and nurse Brigitte. Janet is survived by her husband of over 31 years, Art Allred. Her four children, chil-dren, Brandelin (Richard) Spiers, Warner Robins, GA. Derek, Anjelee, and Dane, American Fork, Ut. One granddaughter, Savannah Spiers.
