More proud grandparents in American Fork are Kirk and Kathy Bills, whose daughter Vicky gave birth to a boy at Utah Valley Hospital Dec. 4. The baby is the first child of Vicky and John Capua, who are living in Provo, and the Bill's third grandchild. Charles Haws, son of Mel-burn Mel-burn and Verlene Haws, recently returned from the Texas Dallas Mission. He left from California prior to his parent's move to American Fork. Charles has plans to en roll at BYU next month. The eleventh grandchild of James and Marjorie Magnus-son Magnus-son was blessed in the American Ameri-can Fork Thirteenth Ward Sunday. Bethany Rae Massa, born Oct. 19, is the first child of the Magnussons' daughter Janiece Kay and Ray Massa of Bountiful. Fred and Doris Wright ac-" quired two more grandchildren grandchil-dren last month, bringing the total to eleven. Their daughter Cathy and Steve Cochran of Louisville, Kentucky, adopted a five-year-old girl. The Coch-rans Coch-rans have two older adopted boys also. Elizabeth Wright married Bob Cook last month and immediately became the mother of a six-year-old girl. Jr. High Band Concert Tonight The Annual Winter Concert of the American Fork Junior High School will be held tonight, ton-ight, Thursday. Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the junior high auditorium. auditor-ium. The public is cordially invited to attend and support the students in this lovely evening. Opening the program will be the Stage Band performing "Honey & Spice," "Bright Blues" and "Vamp 'till Ready." The Beginning band will follow with "Deck the Halls," and "Rondelay." "Little "Lit-tle Czech Suite," "Winter Wonderland" and "The Gospel Train" will be played by the Cadet Band. To close the concert the Symphonic Band will perform "A Legend of Kings," "A Mighty Fortress is Our God," "A Christmas Fantasy" and "Thirteen Stars." Director of the bands, Rodney Rod-ney E. Harris, said that with the concert and the fund raising rais-ing projects the students have been busy but that good progress is being made by all of the bands. Mr. Harris will be assisted on the program by his student teacher, Maxine Brighton. Deveraux of American Ameri-can Fork, an employee of the Motor Vehicle Division, State Tax Commission, has been selected as the Utah Public Employees Association's most courteous employee for the month of November. Governor Calvin L. Ramp-ton Ramp-ton presented Mr. Deveraux with a $25 U.S. Savings Bond and certificate of award after citing him for his courteous way of treating the public. Mr. Deveraux was nominated nominat-ed for the award by W. Kit Farley after Mr. Deveraux helped him complete the necessary paper work to pay his State Property Tax for licensing fees on a motorcycle. Mr. Farley said, "If Mr. Deveraux hadn't gone to the extra trouble to help me, I would not have been able to participate in a motorcycle trip and would have had to pay extra fees on my motorcycle." UPEA and Governor Ramp-ton Ramp-ton participate on a monthly courtesy award in which a courteous State employee is honored. - Mr. Deveraux, in September of 1976 was appointed to be a director of the Utah Public Employees Association.
