Show Candystripers Hold Christmas Party Tr. School Plans 4-H Fair AMERICAN FORK CITIZEN THURSDAY, DEC. 9, 19M tl , iinmnjiuii... i luinnm J-- ' mm fClS f" -iV -T Candystripers at the American Ameri-can Fork Hospital enjoyed their annual Christmas party on Monday. December 6, in the conference room at the hospital. The program was under the direction of Candystriper officers, of-ficers, Elaine Brady, president; presi-dent; Charlene Wyler, vice president; and Diane Bylsma, secretary. Patches for service were given to new members of the group who have donated 50 Utah State Training School 4-H'ers are preparing for the traditional winter 4-H Fair to be held at the Training School hours of their time to aiding patients and staff members at the hospital. Wayne R. McTague, hospital administrator, administra-tor, made the presentation, and thanked the girls for giving giv-ing of their time and talents to the program. Games, gifts and refreshments refresh-ments were also enjoyed by those in attendance. New Candystripers with qualifying hours had 50 hour patch presentation, at American Fork Hospital. Errol Burns, Utah State University Uni-versity Extension Youth Agent and 4-H director at the Training Train-ing School, stated that approximately approx-imately 150 residents are members of 28 clubs which are led by 45 volunteer leaders.
