Tri-City Rainbows Schedule Swim Meet The Tri-City Rainbows have scheduled an intra-swim meet this Saturday at 8 a.m. at the American Fork swimming pool. The new swim team was organized in November of this year and consists of children from five through eighteen years of age. Swim team members will compete in age groups consisting consist-ing of eight and under, nine and ten, eleven and twelve and fourteen through eighteen years of age. The event will be sponsored by the newly formed parent organization which includes a five member board. Swimming pool Manager, Robert Krom-menhoek Krom-menhoek and Swim Coach, Stan Crump will be in charge of the meet. Graduates Claim Skilled, Well Paying Jobs Qualified graduates of the Technology Division of Utah Technical" College at Provo usually end up in skilled, well-paying well-paying jobs, according to Rulon Wells, division chairman. Mr. Wells cites the record of one graduate as an illustration - who was recently made foreman fore-man of a Wyoming corporation at a salary of approximately $17,000 per year, plus fringe benefits. The person in question is Dennis Den-nis Peterson, who graduated from Utah Tech in its electrical and automation programs in May of 1974. Mr. Peterson went to work for the FMC Corporation Corpora-tion in Green River, Wyoming, which mines trona ore, made up of carbonate salts. The Utah Tech graduate Started as a Class 13 mainten-anceman, mainten-anceman, was made journeyman journey-man maintenanceman six months later, and in November this war was made a fore-n)ar. fore-n)ar. His primary work is in "lmneal and instrumentation repair w'hile at Utah Tech. Mr. Peterson worked as a lab assistant assis-tant m the Klectrieal Department Depart-ment and because he showed Mem as an instructor was hired pan-time- in this capacity in the Hecincal Department for two quarters prior to his graduation. "Dennis Peterson's experience exper-ience is not an isolated case among Clah Tech graduates," said Mr. Wells.
