The Elders are collecting food, furniture, toys and other surplus items that can be fixd up and made usable for the needy. The APMJA girls are working on the same idea. One class is making a quiit and tree ornaments for a family they've chosen to be Santa for. Another class is collecting, mending, washing and ironing clothes that can be wom by children in need. Another class put together a basket of Thanksgiving dinner items to cheer the hearts of those that might have had a skimpy table. What better time for thought-fulness thought-fulness and service than this, season commemorating the Pilgrims Pil-grims and the birth of the Savior of the world that did so much for us? There is so much stress and worry about what to do for fun these days that it is gratifying to find groups that have found the true meaning of what is not only fun, but worthwhile.
