The green-legged chickens lay multi-colored eggs, each different from another. known as the "Rainbow" about ten years ago, starting with one rooster and two hens. Today his flock has increased to about 60, including some of the more conventional poultry breeds, such as Leghorn. Colored boiled eggs? It is easy. The chickens obligingly lay eggs with strikingly different shells. Colors range from delicate pink, beige, brown to blue and green. The eggs come in a dazzling variety, va-riety, too.
