Council members have asked ask-ed that the 30 miles-per-hour speed limit be strictiy enforced in the city limits. Drivers of unmuffled cars and two - wheeled vehicles are also al-so being stopped and issued tickets tick-ets and citations as the city attempts at-tempts to eliminate the excessive exces-sive noise caused from these vehicles. A sweet treat is in store for residents of the Tri-State aiea Wednesday and Thursday, when Neil Simon's musical comedy "Sweet. Charity" will be presented pre-sented at Grandma's Kitchen Amphitheatre, Am-phitheatre, near Zions Park, each evening at 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Jackie C. Griffin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Rulon Nicholes, An.. Fork, will be playing the part of Ursula in the production. A four-scene revolving set has been created for the July 8 and 9 production of "Sweet Charity" at Southern Utah State College. The "now you see it, now you don't" compact unit will in turn become a ticket booth, dressing room, elevator, and dance hall interior. Cast members and visitors to rehearsals of the workshop adaptation of the popular Broadway Broad-way musical have added the personal per-sonal touch by autographing the many walls of the unique miniature min-iature set, which h?s been con structed under the supervision of Reed Lynn Turner, Delta, production pro-duction technician. ''This has been a true work shop experience," said Roene DeFiore, vocal director for the play. Mrs. DiFiore, Dixie Col lege activity coordinator, is par ticipating in the summer work shop for the second season. She added that "it is a do it-yourself project from begin ning to end." Mrs. DeFiore ex plained that each participant has been responsible for his or her costume design and construction as well as for securing all nec essary props and other play es sentials. Police report that a number of junker cars are again accumulating accumulat-ing on city streets and in yards. The American Fork City Council Coun-cil discussed ths matter at length Monday evening, and are again asking police officers to advise residents that junkers must be removed from city streets. Accumulation of junkers junk-ers on private property is also discouraged ?nd residents are asked to move cars abandoned on streets and on private property. Removal is sought both as a safety and beautification measure. The governor of New Hampshire Hamp-shire is elected every two years and may succeed himself.
