' American Fork's 12th annual Steel Days celebration has been termed one of the most successful success-ful events that ever took place in the community. Queen Sherma White and attendants, Sharlene Parduhn and Betty Bingham looked look-ed beautiful leading the large parade par-ade on their lovely float. Jerry Cook, American Fork, son of Mr. andMrs. Ernest Cook, held the lucky ticket for the new car given away at the evening show. 20 Years Ago American Fork's third annual Steel Day is a thing of the past and all reports indicate that it has been one of the most successful success-ful celebrations ever staged in the city. Never before were the attractions qi .te so varied, and the city play- d host to perhaps the biggest crowd in its 97 year history. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Sat-urday, American Fork's Riding Club was really initiated into the Utah State Racing Association. It has been a member for the past two years but because of not having the standard facilities for -946 it was necessary to hold over until this year.
