Walker, Superintendent Superin-tendent at Tlmpanogos Cave National Na-tional Monument announced that the last evening program of the season was held last Saturday, September 2. The slide programs will resume early next summer with a new schedule and several new programs, he said. Conducted tours of the caves will continue until snow and ice close the trail to the caves, Mr. Walker said. However, the visitor center in American Fork Canyon is open all year from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. The cave trail, itself, Is closed each day at 4 p.m. Cave officials said September and October are the best months to visit the caves as autumn colors and cooler temperatures make the hike up the trail a wonderful won-derful experience. Visitors to the monument are urged to see a special audiovisual audio-visual program that can be shown any time during visitor center hours. This 15 minute program features the scenic attractions of the cave, the cave trail and American Amer-ican Fork Canyon, The equipment involved In this presentation Includes two slide projectors coupled and coordinated coordi-nated by a lap dissolve unit.
