Theobald, executive manager man-ager of the state fair, said Wednesday Wed-nesday that Utah's three senior universities, University of Utah,1 Utah State Agricultural College, and Brigham Young University, will have exhibits in the tent. The three schools of higher learning will stress their educational educa-tional advantages, research, and cultural contributions to Utah and the country. From Logan to, Cedar City there abound the world's most matchless ski runs, and jumping facilities. Alta ' Brighton, Snow Basin, Bluebell, Sklhaven, to mention a few areas, will receive special attention. Wildlife, fish and game, rivers and streams will have a prominent prom-inent exhibit, stressing hunting and fishing, river running and Utah's extinct Indian cultures. In the huge tent there will be a darkened theater separate from the exhibits where films' of the different aspects of Utah's many-faceted cultural, scenic, educational, Industrial, and In stitutional advantages will be shown. The Reclamation Service is expected ex-pected to show an exhibit which will stress Utah's relation to the Upper Colorado River waters which will increase the state's agricultural and industrial potential po-tential two fold. Railroads, buslines, bus-lines, and travel agencies will be represented. Farm Bureau To Hold Annual , Outing Saturday Annual outing for Utah Coun ty Farm Bureau and the Associated Asso-ciated Women of the Farm Bur eau will be held at Canyon Glen in Provo Canyon, Saturday Aug. 9, according to R. O. Gardner, secretary. Board meeting will be held at 1 p. m. and at 2 p. m. activities will begin with a ball game when north county farmers will be pitted against those from the south. At the same time child ren's races and games for those between the ages of one and 12 years will be In progress. Double teams of women will vie for horse shoe pitching honors hon-ors at 3 p. m. while games and races are being fought out with the Juniors between the ages of 10 and 19 years. Wood sawing and spike driving contests between be-tween both men and women at 4 o'clock and Volley Qall games will take up the time between 4 and 5:30. The committee will furnish drinks and ice cream for the evening meal, with each family bringing its own picnic lunch. The day's activities will close with a talent show at 7:30.
