By MARGARETE SCHAUFFELE When I visited Salt Lake City the - first time in daylight it seemed .to me a very large and very pretty city. There are so many big, modern buildings and so many stores where you can buy nearly everything without visiting any other store. I like my home city, Stuttgart, too, We have many big pretty buildings, build-ings, but you can find some little streets with very old but pictures que houses. We don't have so many department stores, but more places that sell only one line of goods. I never did go through all the stores to shop around when I didn't even want to buy anything, like I have seen people In America do. In the grocery stores we don't have self-service like you do. We have to ask for everything, I like the cafeterias and the drug stores-'becaiise ycra dont have to wait so long when you want something to eat. The beautiful designing of the tower,bedr1lllbe1T''PaTk"Te--, minded me of my home land. In Stuttgart we have the Wilhelma Park, a very famous park in West Germany, There are mostly flowers, trees and all kinds of plants from all over the world. There are also many birds, fish and animals like in Liberty Park. Fpr the plants from other countries count-ries there are big houses of glass to raise them In the temperature they have beerrused to In their native land. Another park inthe Stuttgart ter Gartenschau, built again after the war and finished this year. There are all kinds of things for amusement for all ages of people besides the plants in this park. CORRECTION In reporting last week on winners win-ners In theJSteel Day parade the Seventh ward should have been given the credit in the Church section, in place of the Second ward as stated.
