American Fork Senior High School, the annual Hershey track meet will be held for youngsters aged 9-14. Youngsters from all the grammar schools in the area as well as some from the junior high schools will participate in the following activities: 50 meter, 100 meter, 200 meter, 400 meter, 800 meter and 1500 meter races as well as a 4 x 100 relay race. Last year, Kathy Erickson, Julinda Ingersoll, Stephanie Trane and Mamie Brems went to the national finals in West Virginia as a relay team and placed sixth in the nation. The girls had the best time in their region which included participants from Hawaii, Utah, Arizona, Nevada . and California. The runners will be trying to qualify for the state finals in Logan, held July 11. New Swimming Schedule Announced New hours for public swimming at both the indoor and outdoor swimming swim-ming pools were announced this week by DeLayna Crockett, pool director. There will be no public swimming between 10 a.m. and 12 noon, Mondays Mon-days through Fridays, Miss Crockett said. Hours for Saturday are 10 a.m. to 12 noon; 1 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.; 3:30-5:45 p.m.; and 6 to 8 p.m. No one under five will be admitted without an adult. Anyone interested desiring to contact the pool director may do so by calling 756-2503 (indoor pool) between 10 a.m. and 12 noon or 756-5684 (outdoor pool) from 12:30to2p.m. The pools are available for specials dates such as birthday parties, reunions, etc., and may be reserved by contacting Miss Crockett. Tot Swim Class Planned A Mother-Tot Swim Class will begin on Monday, June 15 at 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at the American Fork Junior High School indoor swimming pool, 1120 No. 20 West, Am. Fork. Nine lessons will cost $10.00. Children from ages three months to three years are the ideal ages. With Walters pitching effectively and shortstop, Gary Carlton and left fielder Niel Chadwick (both shown behind Walters) driving in two runs each, the Stingers won 4-1. In a second game under the lights, the Playboys won 3-2.
