He was a life-long member mem-ber of 1HLW electrical workers union. Online condolences may be sent to andersonmortuary.com. Mary Lylene Mary Lylene Finch Peay passed away peacefully in her sleep September Sep-tember 2, 2007 in Orem, Utah at the age of 84. Mary was born April 26, 1923, in Eureka, Utah to Joseph William Wil-liam Finch and Ethel Elizabeth Davis. She was sealed to Donald Mar-rott Mar-rott in the Salt Lake temple in 1949. They had two children together: Sheila Marrott Evans of Sandy, Utah and Dwayne Marrott of El Paso, Texas. Following a divorce she worked as a single mother for 1 1 years until a second marriage in 1964 to David Penrod, a widower wid-ower with two children, Robert Penrod and Lesa Moree'. Together Togeth-er they had a daughter, Kayleen Penrod Nelson, of Bakersfield, California. Following a five year marriage a divorce occurred and she continued working as a single mother. She experienced a wonderful won-derful marriage to Warren Peay in 1986 and enjoyed the generosity generos-ity and association of his five children. chil-dren. She lived most of her life in Orem and Pleasant Grove, as well as two years in California. After graduating from Lincoln High School in Orem, Mary attended at-tended a technical college, BYU and Stevens Henager Business College. She worked in skilled clerical positions at Remington Arms during the World War II years, then at Clearfield Naval Base. Later, she worked at Hercules, Her-cules, Geneva Steel, as a Teachers Teach-ers Aide for seven years and as a secretary for the Utah County Health Department. She retired in 1986 following her marriage to Warren. Mary demonstrated many exemplary qualities throughout her life. She was dedicated and always enjoyed serving in many positions within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission to western Canada in 1947-1948. Mary enjoyed her family, special spe-cial relation ship with her two caring sisters, writing writ-ing family history, his-tory, typing, genealogy, collecting poetry, music, playing the piano, ice skating, singing, sing-ing, crochet ing, foods and nutrition, musical entertainment and all family gatherings. She had a remarkable capability capabil-ity to remember names and connect con-nect them to their family lines. She always had a positive attitude, sincere interest in friends and provided pro-vided all with fun and a wonderful sense of humor. Mary was preceded in death by her three husbands, her siblings: sib-lings: Elizabeth Finch, Stanley Finch, Merlin Finch, and her grandson, Kolby Marrott. She is survived by her brother, Jay Finch, and her sisters, Rosa Mae Gurr and Afton Graff, who reside in Orem. She is survived by her three children, 15 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and loving step-children and step-grandchildren. Our mother is dearly beloved and cherished by all who knew her. Her sweet life touched many people. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 7, 2007 at the Lakeridge 4th Ward chapel, 158 East 1100 South, Orem.
