Rebecca is the daughter of Mark and Wendie Sidwell of Lindon. She is 15 years old and just finished the 9th grade at Oak Canyon Junior High School. Rebecca enjoys playing softball as a pitcher and playing second base. She also has had the chance of playing on an all-star softball team and enjoyed every minute of it. She enjoys sewing, cooking, spending time with her family and loves Lake Powell. Rebecca is a great example to family and friends. We are proud of her and love her very much. Love Mom, Dad and Konner. Brooks, 50th Nom and Colleen Brooks are celebrating their 50th anniversary on Friday, May 25, 2007. Their children are honoring them with a reception in American Ameri-can Fork. The Brooks' were married May 25, 1957 in Salt Lake City. Nom and Colleen both attended South High. Nom is a wood craftsman and instrument builder. Colleen specializes in T.R.T Therapeutic Recreation Geriatrics. They have four children and 10 grandchildren. Many Levels of f " II mini ill ill . "p """.' !" . Major Gary Huggard of American Ameri-can Fork has retired from the US Air Force after 24 years of active-duty active-duty service. He was commissioned commis-sioned an officer in 1983 through Brigham Young University's Reserve Re-serve Officer Training Program (ROTQ. During the Cold War he served as a launch control officer for the Minuteman Nuclear Missile System Sys-tem and the Ground-launched Nuclear Nu-clear Cruise Missile System, and was a member of the design team for the National Missile Defense Anti-ballistic Missile System. Later he served as a logistics officer of-ficer in support of several satellite systems, for F-16 and A-10 fighter jet operations, for the F-15 fighter jet secondary power system, and for several cargo aircraft landing gear systems. Additionally, he served one special duty assignment on the US-Mexico border providing logistical support for federal law enforcement agencies in counter-drug counter-drug operations. He completed tours of duty in Belgium, Germany, Afghanistan, Korea, and several stateside locations. loca-tions. He also traveled extensively extensive-ly around the world in short-term duty assignments. Gwen Bench, 95th Gwen S. Bench will celebrate her 95th birthday at an open house hosted by her children on Friday, June 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the home of her son, Paul Kennedy, Ken-nedy, 863 East 500 North, Orem. Gwen was born June 8, 1912 in Ephraim, to Soren and Mary Tooth Sorensen. She has been active ac-tive in the LDS Church, serving as a temple worker, and in many church callings. She is a member of DUP, American Legion Auxiliary, Auxilia-ry, has worked for Fawn Whitney Catering, Eldred Hospital and has served as a senior companion. She enjoys quilting, crocheting, and knitting. Gwen is the mother of five children: chil-dren: Donald Sorensen (Ursula), Peoria, Arizona; Jeannine Gordon (Glade), Orem; James D.
