I DISORDERLY CONDUCT - A 24-year-old man of Orem went into the Orem Wal-Mart on Friday evening and became disorderly and was ordered by security to leave the store. The man was observed knocking food items off the shelf. When told to leave, he became verbally abusive and walked up to the front of the store and grabbed a female employee and embraced her. The woman was startled and security stepped in to detain him until the police could be notified. He began to fight and security officers from Wal-Mart took him to the ground and handcuffed him. When Orem officers arrived, they searched him and found marijuana in his pockets. The man was booked into the Orem holding facility for disorderly conduct and possession posses-sion of marijuana. Warrant arrast Officer Kevin Mallory stopped a car Friday Fri-day night driven by a 33 -year-old from Lehi for a traffic violation. Mallory had a difficult time talking talk-ing to the woman over her pleading plead-ing to just receive a warning. It was discovered that she had two active warrants out for her arrest Her demeanor soon changed when the officer told her that she was under arrest. The woman locked her hands on the steering wheel and told the officer she wasn't going to jail and he couldn't make her. She refused to get out of the car and as the officer stood in the open door of the car trying to talk some sense into her, she started the car and attempted to drive.
