This trail is stroller accessible. This short hike is a wonderful introduction introduc-tion to the canyon's flora and geology. When hiking, stop at the dry stream bed (marker 8) and listen. The creek can still be heard, and a short walk up the stream bed will reveal a small trickle of water. A short drive to Tibbie Fork Reservoir can be fun. Visitors to Cascade Springs will be encouraged by the new growth that has occurred since a fire burned much of the area in the fall of 2003. Although many burned trees still stand, there is a lot of vegetation growing up around these charred stumps. There are also isolated spots that were untouched un-touched by the fire. The spring, itself, is still surrounded by lush vegetation.
