Petty, son of Paul and Jill Petty, received his Eagle Scout Award at the age of 15. He is part of Troop 928 sponsored spon-sored by the Apsen 8th ward. There will be a Court of Honor Sunday, October 26, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. For his project he organized organ-ized elementary schools and the community to collect food for the Timpanogos Food Bank. Over 800 pounds of food was donated and sorted. Spencer also received arrow of light and has earned a bronze palm. Come and dance to the music of 'Come and Dane With Us Band, Costumes are optional, but it is lots of fun to dress up for this dance. There will be refreshments refresh-ments and door prizes. Everyone is invited 18 years and up, singles and couples. See you there! Admission $5.00 per person. $4.00 for students with activity card. They are planning a great New Years dance. Come and check out the information about it. Spencer P. Petty currently 2nd counselor in the teachers quorum. He was Orem Jr. High Student of the year and is currently playing lacrosse at Timpanogos High School. Tamara Ann Nielsen, daughter of Stephen and Kathleen Nielsen of Orem, married Merrill S. Worthington, son of Ned and Mavis Worthington of Ephraim on Fridav, October 10, 2003 in the Manti LDS Temple. The groom's parents honored hon-ored the couple with a wedding wed-ding luncheon held at the Historic Ephraim Social Hall. The bride is a graduate of Mountain View High School. She graduated from Snow College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. The groom is graduate of Manti High School and is attending Snow College. He served a LDS mission in the New York New York North Mission. He is employed with Worthington-Leavitt Insurance. The couple will make their home in Ephraim. Tamara is the granddaughter grand-daughter of Homer and Blanche Benson of Provo, and E. Leon and Ardith Nielsen of Provo. Merrill is the grandson of Berneice Worthington of Nephi and the late Henry Worthington of Isaac and Themla Sorensen. A reception will be held in their honor on Friday, October 24, 2003 from 7 until 9 PM at the North Park Stake Center, 1066 West 200 North, Provo. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. PG Orchestra fall concert V " 4 The Pleasant Grove Orchestra will present its fall concert Friday, October 24, 2003, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Pleasant Grove High School, 700 E. 200 S. The program will include Tschaikowsky's "Romeo and Juliet." Rimsky-Korsakov's "Procession of the Nobles", Borodin's Movement of Grieg's "Piano Concerto in A minor". Our guest performer per-former of the piano concerto will be Tiffany Winkel, age 14, of Spanish Fork. Her parents are Ryan and Cherylin Winkel.
